This stunning 2000-square-foot beach home is filled with art, antiques, and beautiful eclectic furnishings. It is incredibly light and open with 20-foot vaulted ceilings in the living room. The maple hardwood floors are throughout the home and Persian rugs are in the bedrooms. Though furnished with exquisite items, this lovely home is both homey and very comfortable for both adults and children. The kitchen has a Viking gas range, stainless steel appliances including a Bosch dishwasher, and beautiful Italian Labradorite granite countertops. It is a gourmet cook's dream kitchen.

The Bose surround-sound stereo system and the 42" plasma screen HDTV insure wonderful music listening and movie watching. The Master bedroom also has a 37" plasma screen TV. There are partial ocean views from both floors, private decks for ocean watching and sunning, and the roar of the ocean is heard all night. Feel the fresh invigorating ocean air on your skin when you go for an early morning walk on the beach and catch a glimpse of pelicans, dolphins, and numerous sea birds. Sit and enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning sunsets Cardiff-by-the-Sea is known for.

Have breakfast at the famous local surf café - Pipes, lunch at the healthy fare - Ki’s, watch the big game at Yogi’s sports bar - and dinner at one of the beach front restaurants such as the Chart House, Charlie’s, Las Olas, and the Beach House all easily within walking distance.

A beautiful park is next door where you can sit and read a book on a blanket and watch the ocean, or play a game of tennis and basketball in the public courts. The beach is a 5 min walk away. Cardiff-by-the-Sea is a romantic, surfing village with wonderful, unique beaches for walking, bird watching, surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming. The sunsets are beautiful painting the sky vividly most nights.

Hike in Torrey Pines or play a round of golf at the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Resort--maybe catch a glimpse of Tiger Woods! Local restaurants are beachfront for fine dining, or quaint coffee houses for reading and relaxing. Close by are Balboa Park Museums, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Del Mar Race Track, Legoland, Disneyland, lots of shopping, and nightlife in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.

You will find everything you need in this area to enjoy a fabulous vacation. And when the weather is cool, sit in front of a crackling fireplace enjoying the peace and solitude of a quiet winter evening .
