Our tastefully decorated and turnkey furnished 2-bedroom villa overlooks a lake and 5th green of golf course in beautiful Burnt Store Marina.
The main living area is an open floor-plan and incorporates a spacious dining area. The entertainment center in the living area includes a flat screen TV and stereo. The great room has a queen-size sofa bed. The kitchen is open to the main living area and has a view of the lake and golf green from the lanai sliding glass doors. The laundry area includes a washer and dryer.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, bedside tables and a dresser. A TV is on the dresser. The master suite is completed with a large walk-in closet and private master bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a bedside table and a dresser. There is a private bathroom for the second bedroom.
The lakefront is visited by abundant wildlife and scenic vistas abound. A short 5 minute walk takes you to the 525 wet slip marina where you can rent a boat, take a lunch cruise, or sample food and drink at Porto Bella restaurant.
Golfers are welcome to enjoy the 27-hole executive course on-site with very reasonable fees. The fitness center/ tennis courts are available for reasonable rates.
Charlotte Harbor is the second-largest estuary in Florida, encompassing 270 square miles, yet it is one of the state’s best-kept secrets. As one of the largest marina in Florida, Burnt Store offers visitors limitless and unrivaled encounters on the water.
Relax on the lanai with a drink and your loved one and watch the beautiful Florida sky and the wildlife.
For the sailor, Burnt Store Marina provides some of the best day sailing imaginable. Within an easy sail of the marina lie the barrier islands such as Cayo Costa, Sanibel, & Gasparilla. Access to the gulf of Mexico is only 10 nautical miles away at Boca Grande pass.
For the angler, these pristine waters present the best saltwater fishing Florida has to offer. Snook, trout, redfish, cobia, pompano and more live here in abundance. From April through July, the area is covered with tarpon, the silver king. Few places on earth offer such genuine opportunities for landing the trophy catch of a lifetime.
For power boaters, secluded barrier islands accessible only by water are within miles of the harbor, including Cayo Costa, Cabbage Key, Boca Grande and the exclusive, private island of Useppa. My wife and I moved to Burnt Store marina full time in 2007 after staying in our villa on a part-time basis for two seasons. As avid sailors we fell in love with the boating opportunities here in Charlotte Harbor. It is a boating paradise that, much to our delight, seems to be a well-kept secret.
Why the Owner Chose Burnt Store Marina
We originally purchased our villa to use on a part time basis so we could determine if Burnt Store would become our permanent retirement home.

Enjoyed staying in your cheerful condo for the month of February. Sure beat the winter back home in New York. We loved sitting in the lanai and watching the birds and golfers -- so relaxing. Your condo is very well furnished. We felt very much at home and so did our guests. Thank you Can't wait to come back

What a fun way to spend the winter in Florida. Your condo is so inviting. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. It is so relaxing just watching the golfers from the lanai. It is really a kick!!!! Burnt Store Marina is a hidden treasure. Jim and Carol J.

My husband and I have spent the last two winters at this villa. One of the main reasons for choosing this particular spot was the view from the lanai-and we weren't disappointed! It is very nicely furnished and we felt "at home" from the first day. We have stayed at four different locations in Burnt Store Marina, and this was our favorite.
