My wife and I spent a week at the cottage and had a wonderful time. It has everything that you could need to have a comfortable stay and is very roomy for two. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have more than 3 at most 4 people in your party but the bed in the bedroom is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! The only real drawback is the location, which we found to be wonderful and peaceful, but it is somewhat removed from much of the things of interest on the island. However, you will still enjoy the eastern side of the island, and I actually began to enjoy regularly traversing the Hana Highway during the course of the week! If you stay here make sure you spend some time in Hana at Waianapanapa State Park and at Red Sand Beach they are must sees on this side of the island.

We stayed at your cottage for two nights in Aug for our 15 year anniversary. Your cottage is absolutely stunning situated in a tropical garden overlooking the ocean! The location, right before the town of Hana was very convienent and made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. Some of our favorite things to visit in the area were Wai'anapanapa Park, Hamoa Beach, Seven Sacred Pools and Waimoku Falls which was worth the 2-3 hour hike! We also enjoyed stopping at the roadside stands and picking up fresh fruit and banana bread. Amanda, thank you for opening your house to us, we were so glad to stay in Hana for a couple of nights in your beautiful cottage!

This was the best place we could have hoped for while staying 3 nights near Hana! The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking! I took 100 pictures of just the flowers! Everyday we made trips to Wainapanapa State park to swim in the cave, play on the beach and hike along the shore. We made daily trips to Hamoa Beach to swim and body surf. Also on the fun agenda were trips to Venus Pool (you must swim there-it's magic!) and snorkeling near the light house in Hana Bay-Perfect corals there!!! The house was immaculately kept and very comfortable. We ate at all the road side stands-fish sandwiches, BBQ, fish tacos, ice cream fruit. DELICIOUS everywhere!! Mahalo Amanda for all the Aloha!! -The Lewis's

We stayed at the cottage for two nights during our honeymoon. The cottage leg of the trip was by far our favorite. Not only is the Hana side of the island the most spectacular, but the cottage was the perfect peaceful getaway. The view from the very large balcony is fantastic, the bed is super comfortable, and the surrounding property is beautiful. Watching (and hearing) that heavy rain from the balcony was amazing. Highly recommended! The cottage had everything we needed. And while you're there, make sure you take the drive down Nihiku road just past mile marker 25.

We really enjoyed the cottage. Beautiful views of ocean, and lush tropical scenery. Get dinner to-go at one of the food stands, and then relax for dinner on the porch, and take in the view. If you have time, the hike to the waterfall above the Seven Pools is highly recommended. Trail starts at the National Park entrance about 20 minutes past Hana.
