    We had a fabulous holiday staying at Dolphin House. The house itself was clean and comfortable with lots of space. Pool area was fine. Location was very good - literally a 2 minute walk to a beautiful, quiet beach. Nearest restaurant was a 10 minute walk away but was quite good - a beach bar/ pizza restaurant. Would recommend.

    The Dolphin House is exact what we had expect for a great time on the Gulf Little Hickory Island Beach is across the street and we had also a lot of fun in the pool. We saw amazing sun downs and dolphins swimming by For sure we will rent this property again

    i can honestly say we had a great time on vacation,the property is very comfortable well possitioned and the the pool gave us hours of fun,we will return if we can.

    The photos of this property are accurate, but the photos didn't "do it justice" even. The owner was great to work with, and everything was well maintained and in good working order. The beach was uncrowded and easy to reach. It's a soft, sandy beach to walk on, but the shelling opportunities are still great. Plenty of delicious meals are found at restaurants nearby as well as shopping being not too far from the house. Our list of things to do in the area was fairly long, but we loved the pool and beach so much that we stayed at the house and skipped the list altogether. We plan to return to Dolphin House as soon as we are able to get away.

    We (family with children 10 & 14) spent the best Florida vacation ever at Dolphin House. It had all the facilities it promissed and was generously furnished with kitchenware, had internet, cabel TV and last but not least lots of stuff for the pool and for the beach. The house was clean, well maintained and and the owner provided excellent customer service. We enjoyed the beach every day whose access is only a short walking distance away. Stores and restaurants (our favourite Iguana Mia on Road 41) are reachable (by car) within 5 minutes. There are many Outlet Stores in the area - so make sure you arrive with empty suitcases. Sanibel Island is just 30 minutes away (famous for its beaches and shells). Make sure to go early, stroll along the beaches and you'll berewarded with the most beautiful shells washed upon the shore. After the beach walk, enjoy an excellent breakfast at the Over Easy Cafe on Periwinkle Road. It is definitely not the last time we've spent at the Dolphin House. The kids loved it.

    We had a great time; you have a nice, comfortable home and pool. The location was perfect as we like the Naples/Bonita/Ft Myers beach area. We've stayed in many places but really enjoyed your place. We lucked out and had perfect weather. We would definitely like to rent the house again in the future. I would recommend your house to my friends and family but they might want it the same time as me....

    This year was our second visit to the Dolphin House and did not disappoint. Comfortable beds, rejuvenated living area and a wonderful pool in a clean and well maintained single level house setting close to the beach met all our needs. Great location adjacent to one of the quietest beach strips in the area and close to a number of "character" seafood restaurants and Lovers Key State park just to the North. The local sport-fishing is excellent...visit "Master Bait and Tackle"!...and there are a number of golf courses in the general area. Those notorious "Outlet" shopping malls are within a 30 minute drive for those wishing a break from the beach...as is a trip to lively downtown Naples. The owners are very reliable, considerate and attentive and even added extra HD sports (soccer) channels at our request. We have already booked a return visit next year. ...highly recommended!

    Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    We enjoyed our vacation at Dolphin House very much. Especially the pool was just great. The property is close to a beautiful beach and is equipped with everything one needs. It's clean and well maintained. We definitely will return to this beautiful place one day!

    Our vacation at the Dolphin House was very pleasant. We really enjoyed the wonderful pool and were probably spoiled forever by having it for ourselves (not a whole resort)! The beds were so comfortable, we slept really well. The kitchen was supplied with nice utensils and dishes/glasses. The whole house had been recently redecorated so, it felt very clean and well maintained. We did have some concerns about crossing Hickory Blvd. to get to the beach. Sometimes the traffic was quite heavy and the drivers didn't stop for pedestrians very often. But, everything considered it was a delightful vacation (the cool weather was still a lot warmer than Minnesota)!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

The warm winter weather in Southwest Florida often attracts alot of visitors, especially during February & March. Finding a parking spot can be tough for those not vacationing by the beach, and it is for this reason that traffic may become heavier during peak season. Even so, we have always been able to cross Hickory Boulevard safely, even when our children were young. Of course, this is much less of a concern during the other ten months of the year.

    The reaction of the kids as we drove into the garage, and then walked into the house says it all - "Wow!....and it has a pool...its a palace!!" OK, so kids are easily excited, but its a rare treat to find a rental property this close to such a fantastic beach, with a great pool, and so well equipped. The A/C was better than most hotel systems, the master bed was super large and super comfy and a good nights sleep was had by all every night - even the night that Tropical Storm Fay hit! (On which note, we were very please to find flashlights to hand) With more beach and pool equipment than my kids could dream of, even a cool box on wheels we could take to the beach and keep all our ssupplies cool - it made for a great and relaxing week. Will definately be back, but next time not in Hurricane season!

    The house is great, comfortable, and with proximity to beach, Sanibel Island, Fort Meyers, Naples, Marco Island, & the Everglades you could not ask for a better location. The pool is refreshing and well maintained. Some may say the interior of the house is a little dated, but everything works and what do you want? Its a "beach" house with all the comforts.... This was our 2nd time, and we will be sure to go again...

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely holiday. Your house was perfect for us, very clean & comfortable and very well equipped. The beach chairs etc were ideal, we used them every day. We all enjoyed the lovely pool especially the children and the beach was beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. Bonita beach is certainly a lovely place & if we can come again one year we will certainly love to return to Dolphin House. Thanks again.
