"Cabin on Cove Bay" is a 2 BR lakefront cabin located in the most sought after bay of Lake Mille Lacs, Cove Bay. If you've never fished Lake Mille Lacs, the walleyes await your visit. Located on the south shore of the lake, it is an easy 90 minute drive north of the Twin Cities making it a nice get-away without spending hours in the car.
This property is perfect for fishermen get-aways as well as for family vacations. The private dock and boat lift are ready for your use. A public access is located just 1/4 mile down the road. Children enjoy swimming in front of the cabin. The bottom is sandy with some rocks and the water is very clear and shallow until well past the dock. Convenience stores and several restaurants are within 1 - 2 miles.
The cabin is informal in decor yet fully furnished. The full-size kitchen and full bath are very clean and stocked with all the essentials for your stay. One bedroom has a full size bed and the second bedroom has a twin bed plus twin bunkbeds. A loveseat in the sunroom and a queen size air mattress are available for additional sleeping areas. The kitchen has a 6-person table as does the sunroom.
The cabin is situated near the water which makes the window-surrounded sunroom the desired place to relax while taking in all the bay activity. A bonfire pit located in the front yard is perfect for roasting marshmallows with the kids and reminiscing about the 'big one that got away' with your buddies. Picturesque sunsets can be seen nightly over the lake from the comforts of the sunroom and from the dock.
