"Cabin on Cove Bay" is a 2 BR lakefront cabin located in the most sought after bay of Lake Mille Lacs, Cove Bay. If you've never fished Mille Lacs Lake, the walleyes await your visit. Located on the south shore of the lake, it is an easy 90 minute drive north of the Twin Cities making it a nice get-away without spending hours in the car. This property is perfect for fishermen get-aways as well as for family vacations. The private dock and boat lift are ready for your use. A public access is located just 1/4 mile down the road. Children enjoy swimming in front of the cabin. The bottom is rocky however the water is very clear and shallow until you pass the end of the dock. New large sporting goods store, convenience store, Dairy Queen and a few bait shops are within 1 mile. Several restaurants and quaint shops are within 8 miles.
The cabin is informal in decor yet fully furnished. The full-size kitchen and bath are very clean and stocked with all the essentials for your stay. One bedroom has a full size bed and the second bedroom has a twin bed plus twin bunkbeds. A full- size futon and loveseat in the sunroom/living room and a queen-size air mattress provide additional sleeping areas. The kitchen has a 4-person table as does the sunroom/living room.
The cabin is situated near the water which makes the window-surrounded sunroom/living room the desired place to relax while taking in all the bay activity. A bonfire pit is perfect for both roasting marshmallows with the kids and reminiscing about the 'big one that got away' with your buddies. Picturesque sunsets over the lake can be seen nightly from the comforts of the sunroom/living room and from the dock.
