Prestigious Emerald Island Resort is a Five Star Resort with world class amenities for you to enjoy. Our home offers a spacious layout for all to spread out and relax after a fun filled day at the parks or golfing. We have a large, bright kitchen that offers all the amenities of home.
The kitchen has everything that you should need: coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, etc. The kitchen opens onto the living area which opens onto the pool deck so you can still chat with the family while preparing your meals.
The living area has very comfortable seating where you can lounge or watch a movie on the 42" flat screen. The living area has sliders that open onto the large, extended pool deck. The pool is oversized and is not overlooked by any other homes in the back.
The pool is south facing which means you will get sun all day long. The spa is located directly off the pool with jets and can be heated if you please. We have a child's gate around the pool as well as a pool alarm to ensure the children's safety.
The first master suite offers a large layout with queen size bed, television, and ensuite. The ensuite has a large corner tub and huge two person shower. The second master suite has a queen size bed, television and bathroom with tub and shower.
The kids will love our Mickey Mouse themed bedroom with bright yellow bunk beds and all the Disney characters to play with. There is a fifth bedroom with two single beds as well.
Our games room offers plenty for the whole family: pool table, arcade style basketball hoops game, dart board, Playstation II console with plenty of games, a 42" flatscreen, DVD player and comfortable seating area with air conditioning.
The house is located just down from a park the children will enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort
We purchased this home specifically as we felt it was important to own a home within - not just a gated community - but also one that was manned 24/7. This gave us a great sense of security. Emerald Island Resort is just 2 miles from Disney so we recognized the value of having a home with the proximity to Disney being so close. We felt it was important to also find a home that was not overlooked by other houses when we were enjoying the pool. The exposure of the pool was a priority as well. Southfacing was all we would look at. We know that when in Florida you want to enjoy the pool all day and south facing ensures we get sun all day. We immediately renovated the garage to create a very professional looking games room with lots to occupy both children and adults alike.

My husband Brad and I (Michelle) fell in love with Emerald Island Resort during a family trip to Disney. We decided we wanted to purchase our own Disney home and share it with others. Brad works as a Police Officer here in Ontario, Canada and I am a Manager within the Ontario Public Service. We own three Ontario cottages that we also rent out. We have a 5 year old son who LOVES Mickey Mouse and we are expecting our second child in December of this year (2009). Just returned from our stay at your home and it was very clean and beautiful. It was so nice to come home to after being at Disney all day. My grandsons loved the pool and game room. I will recommend it to anyone going to the Orlando area.

This home was absolutely perfect for us. Spacious, very clean, well appointed and close to all the Orlando attractions. Gated community, friendly staff, beautiful clubhouse and grounds. Everything we needed in the house was on hand and in good shape. The game room was a nice touch - when we weren't gone to the parks, the kids were either in the pool or the game room - we didn't get the dreaded "I'm bored" at any point in our stay. We went with two families and a grandmother in tow, and we all had plenty of space to spread out in. I'd recommend this home to anyone without reservation, and I expect we'll visit again in future.

Our family had a wonderful vacation, it was the perfect place for us! The house was very well kept, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The pool and spa were awesome, the game room was fun for all of us, the kids were able to walk to a park, we loved that we were close to all the attractions. We would definitely stay again next vacation and have already recommended the house to our friends.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and how well maintained the pool and gardens were. We enjoyed using the beautiful pool, hot tub and games room too! It's just five minutes from Disney, shopping and some great restaurants. I have already recommended this property to many friends and relatives. Can't wait to go again!

My family and I had the most wonderful time staying at your villa in Emerald Island, you had everything we needed and much more. Your house was immaculate and your decor was stunning. My 2 boys especially loved the pool and the positioning of the pool is fabulous you have the sun from 1st thing in the morning until last thing at night the photos do not do the villa justice it is just beautiful and when we come back to Florida again we will most certainly want to book your villa for our stay.

We had a wonderful vacation in Florida. Your home was very clean and great to stay in and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient to restaurants and all attractions. We loved the pool and games room and having extra bedrooms and baths was awesome. The kids loved the disney characters and books that you provided. It was nice after a long day at the parks to come back to your home to relax instead of a hotel room. We will definitely recommend your home and book again with you. This was my families first time renting a home for vacation. Everything that is advertised on this website was there for our use and more. There were extra beach towels and bath towels, pillows and blankets. The house had plenty of room for our group of 8 people. We had 3 teenagers with us and not once during our weeks stay did we hear "we're bored" The gameroom and the pool kept them busy along with the activities in the Orlando area. We will do this again! As our family said when we first got to the house - "This house is da bomb" In teen language, that is a good thing.
