Entering this uniquely designed villa, one enters a large L-shaped sitting room which is furnished with comfortable leather sofas and has a dining table set to the side with windows which have a full view of the pool area and toward the sea.
In beautiful countryside, on the northwest coastline of Alonissos, just 5 km from the cosmopolitan and extremely picturesque port of Patitiri, a beautiful villa is being completed. The Villa Ammos is set on a wooded seaside, home to olive and pine trees, which slopes down to the sea, offering superb views of the coast of Alonissos and Skopelos. The location of this property is excellent, offering easy access by car to Patitiri and several idyllic bays and coves within easy walking distance via traditional pathways.

Megali Ammos has small coves containing beaches of both sand and pebble. There are however, some amazingly unspoiled and wild beaches, situated around the bay of Megali Ammos. These are more difficult to reach and often require some walking and climbing, but are worth the effort. The beautiful waters around this island are crystal clear, often with pine forests reaching down to the exceptional and unspoiled beaches. This rather remote area of the island is reached via a dirt road which is approximately 4 km long. The last 400 m or so of the road is rather rough; hence a jeep is essential when booking this villa.
The lovely outdoor spaces are the highlight of Villa Ammos. The house sits in a private walled and gated property with Villa Ammos situated at the bottom and in the front of beautiful beach of Megali Ammos. The covered terrace is not overlooked and the pool area has greenery to protect the privacy of the occupants of the villa. Certainly many hours will be spent on the shaded front terrace with its comfortable outdoor furniture, sipping drinks in the evening or lounging with a good book during the heat of the day. The attractive, kidney shaped pool sits on the side of the house and has large terraces that meet with the vast front lawn ~ the perfect place for relaxing in absolute piece.
Set amongst pine trees the villa enjoys tranquility and seclusion. Pathways lead down to a private beach. This particular part of the island's undeveloped coastline is a fascinating area to discover with mask and snorkel. Megali Ammos (Big Sand) is for most people the most isolated, interesting place on the north side of the island. However, it is neither big nor sandy. It is just the name of a region with wild natural beauty where you will find a few beautiful unspoiled beaches. For some lovers of exploring virgin nature we recommend visiting this place. The main town of Patitiri is approximately 5 km from the villa. The old village, the Capital of the island in the past is approx 20 minutes drive away where there is a selection of lovely taverns and nice bars.
The Villa Ammos is spacious and opens out on to large verandas and terraces bordered by oleander olive and pine trees. It is evident that no expense was spared in creating this truly luxurious villa which sits in a position beyond compare. Sleeps up to 6 people (2 bedrooms and 1 master bedroom). Approx 5 km to nearest town ~ Patitiri (The capital of the island), 8 Km from the attractive old village and 10 km from the fishing village of Steni Vala. Approx 50 m to nearest beaches ~ Megali Ammos. One sandy/pebbled outdoor beach. One small sandy beach 3 minutes walk away.
