Our custom designed 5800 square foot low bluff Beach House will become your favorite Lake Michigan vacation spot. Walk to the nearby pier to fish, or to Old Channel Inn for dinner or just walk for miles along the shore, enjoying the waves. Kayak, fish or jet ski with a boat ramp nearby (slip may be available) or tour the Lighthouse. The Montague/Whitehall area is a beautiful unspoiled quiet place to get away from it all, but great amenities are a short drive away. Price includes a free 10 x 14 portrait of your family taken on the beach by professional photographer.
Our home is great for families: 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (plus 2 more 1/2 baths). Our 'rack-em and stack-em room has a queen bed, bunk beds and a crib. Large great room with dining table, 2 family rooms - one with entertainment center, other the pool table. Gourmet kitchen with snack area and large kitchen table, opens to sitting area with gas fireplace and TV viewing area. Fully air conditioned, handicap accessible with three stop elevator. Almost every room has outstanding views of Lake Michigan. 2nd floor is a wall of glass looking at the lake.
Outside we have large multi layered decks for private dining, sitting and sunning. Watch for incredible sunsets, boats, millions of stars, and maybe a thunderstorm to roll in. Fantastic place in the Fall (a well kept secret) and Winter with the icebergs skirting the shore. Your family will love it here.

The Unique Benefits at this Home
The most unique benefit of our home is Lake Michigan itself and the way that every room but one has views of the lake and some rooms view White Lake. We have several decks to watch the water activity and it is only 13 steps down to the beach. You can walk miles and miles along the shore, fish off the pier, walk to Old Channel Inn for dinner. Big Lake Fishing is just outside our door. We are near Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park and the neat towns of Whitehall and Montague.
Climb to the top of White River Lighthouse and tour the Lighthouse and learn the history of the area
Visit the home of the world's largest working weathervane then get an ice cream cone next door

We are about to be a retired couple. We designed and built this great home and have enjoyed many wonderful years here with our family and friends making countless memories. We have decided to rent our home so others may enjoy the incredible beauty of Lake Michigan and make their own great vacation memories in our Beach House.
