This upscale almost new home is sunny and open with spacious soaring ceilings and is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings with the feel of a country manor estate. It is set on a sunny level lot which is a big plus in the winter. The floors and three car garage are heated. The gourmet kitchen with granite counters is fully equipped including a grill on the Thermodore range. There are two entertainment areas and a gameroom with a foozball table. The upstairs great room opens to an immense front deck with views of Painted Rock. The dining area opens to the covered rear deck with hot tub and gas barbeque. Both areas have flatscreen TV's and surround sound entertainment systems.
The layout of the home is perfect for extended families, groups of friends or executive retreats. The master w/bath and an additional bedroom and bath are upstairs. Downstairs has three bedrooms (one is a second master w/temperpedic mattress), two large baths, laundry with front loading washer/dryer, entertainment room, gameroom, entry foyer with circular staircase and airlock entry. Four of the five bedrooms have their own TV's. There are 3 king beds, one queen and two extra long twins that can be moved together and a double and a single pullout.
Location is right in Squaw Valley with no Hwy 89 traffic to deal with to get a quick start on those fabulous powder days, but close enough to Hwy 89 at the east end of the valley to get easily to Tahoe City 5 miles or Truckee 10 miles.

Why the Owner Chose Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley)
The location and setting could not be more perfect. Squaw Valley Manor is only 2 miles from the Village at Squaw Valley and 1 mile from the Resort at Squaw Creek. There is no Highway 89 traffic to deal with when getting up to ski in the morning. You are already in Squaw Valley. Alpine Meadows as an alternative ski resort is just up the road off Hwy 89. It is 10 miles from Truckee and 5 miles from Tahoe City. There are nearby biking trails along the Truckee River. There is a shuttle bus at the end of the street. The home sits on a bright sunny LEVEL location with fabulous views of Painted Rock.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This is a luxury executive estate with upscale furnishing and amenities. Floors are heated as is the three car garage. The hot tub sits on the covered rear deck with gas barbeque. Beds have luxury linens with down comforters and Egyptian cotton sheets. The kitchen has granite counters, Thermodore range with grill, Monogram built in refrigerator, Bosh dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and everything needed to create wonderful holiday meals. The custom circular dining table seats 8, seating for 2 at the adjacent bar and a smaller table for 4 nearby. All bedrooms and baths are spacious. Four bedrooms have their own TV's. Baths are travertine and marble with a large Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. There are two living areas, the upstairs great room and the downstairs den. Both have their own surround sound entertainment systems. Included are laundry, game room, two Extraordinaire fireplaces, entry airlock, foyer and circular staircase. The setting is quiet in the exclusive Painted Rock Estates area.
From Hwy. 89 turn onto Squaw Valley Road. Turn right onto Winding Creek. Go down 1/2 mile and home will be on the left.

Our active family was coming up to Lake Tahoe to ski or enjoy the summers almost every weekend and holiday from the Bay Area. Our dream was to have our own home right in Squaw Valley. We started with a tiny two bedroom condo in Alpine Meadows, but finally we designed and built our dream vacation home in 2005- Squaw Valley Manor. My son Brian went on to be a Junior Olympian and ski team coach at Squaw Valley and is now in graduate school in San Francisco. My daughter Jessica is now a veterinarian in Las Vegas. I now reside in Reno, Nevada just a 45 minute drive away. We love our home, but our need for it has lessened. Therefore, we are pleased to share its wonderful amenities and location with discriminating vacationers.
