When it comes to homes in Vermont sometimes you never know what you are going to get! This home however had it all! From the owners to the fully stocked kitchen and cozy sitting room with the fireplace it was the most perfect home! The owners go over the top for you and ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the rooms are uniquely decorated and very cozy were perfect for our group! Just a short drive to Manchester Center and the ski slopes it is a great location! I cannot say enough positive things about this house and cannot wait to come back again next year!!! Staying at this property is like visiting a good friend's home. The home feels as though the owner just stepped away. The home and property are immaculate. There is an on-site caretaker in case of any problem. The Kitchen is fully equiped and modern. The "family room" has a functional fireplace and comfortable furnishings. There is Direct TV & every possible movie. The bedrooms are comfortable with great beds. We enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to friends.Did you find this review helpful? A beautiful house. Stocked with all we needed and gorgeously appointed, doing the historic house the justice it deserves. Plenty of space for everyone (and books, videos and wifi), so a perfect house if you want to stay in and relax. But also well located to explore the local area; with nature walks, local history and produce, and plenty of shopping nearby. There is also an excellent container of guides and maps in the house of what's in the area. I was able to organize everything from overseas without hassles, Maryalice was very helpful and able to provide all the details I needed to feel assured everything would go smoothly. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this house for a weekend of paddling on the Battenkill River. We enjoyed our stay, despite the weather. There are lots of things to do, even in the rain. The house is warm and cozy on cold damp days, and the fireplace was an added bonus. The kitchen is quite well furnished, and the house is clean and comfortable. The gardens around the house are beautiful, and obviously well cared for. This was our 2nd trip to this home, and I am looking forward to many more.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home in Arlington. The house was wonderfully furnished and very charming. Also, we had planned to do a lot of cooking during the weekend and I was a little worried that we would not have all the utensils that we needed, but the kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything we could want. We wanted to go snowshoeing for a day and there was ample information about trails in the area in the house, which was verly helpful. Also, I wanted to note that it was snowing very heavily for a few hours before we arrived and we were worried we would need to shovel but despite the fact that we got there pretty late the driveway was all shoveled, which was very nice. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home, we are already planning on coming back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We went on a girl's weekend looking for relaxtion in a beautiful surrounding. And, that's exactly what we got. Drinking wine and sitting in front of the fire chatting, it was perfect. We went out and had a lovely breakfast in Manchester at "Up for Breakfast" (yum) and did some shopping. Manchester is a lovely town. Looking forward to going back.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

3 of us from the UK rented this house from 12/12/10 through to 27/12/10 The owner of the property had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the house for Christmas for us - it was stunning The house is beautifully furnished well equipped clean and warm The location of the property is great for visiting Vermont The shopping outlets at Manchester are only a short drive away as are the ski resorts We flew into Boston which took us about 4 hours easy drive to the property During our stay we had a lot of snow which added to the magic of the place We would thoroughly recommend this house as a holiday rental and would like to return again somedayRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Your home is beautiful. We went to the Arlington Inn the first night,and the Equinox for dinner the second night.Shopped until we couldn't walk anymore in Manchester.
