  Our extended family had a wonderful week at your villa. A spacious, clean and modern villa with all the facilities one could hope for (the water purifier was a pleasant surprise as it meant we didn't have to carry water from the supermarket!). A very large pool, with a smaller pool/jaccuzi which was great for the children. Four tavernas as well as shops, supermarkets, beaches, all within easy walking distance of the villa, meant that the villa was ideally located. The centre of Chania was just a short bus ride away so no car was needed. Esther and her husband were wonderful hosts; the regular supply of apricots, oranges, grapefruits as well as jams and honey, were a most welcome bonus! A truly memorable week. John and Jan

  Our stay at the Villa Asteri in Chania was a wonderful experience. The villa was delightful and in a quiet road only a few hundred meters from the local beaches and restaurants located. The pool was fabulous, and the small ancilliary pool was great for soaking in whilst reading a book. Our hosts were excellent at looking after us and making us feel welcome. The villa was exceptionally well maintained with daily pool cleaner and maids twice a week. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and would thoroughly recommend Villa Asteri.

  Dear Esther and Dimitri, We have really enjoyed spending a week here in this amazing house on an island full of rich culture, warmth and good food. The way you have treated us has been very special, the delicious olives (which were eaten in an instant), the box with treats, the fruits and last but not least your tips on what to see and where to eat during our stay. Bigaza's local cuisine was fantastic! and the walk trough the Samaria gorge was something we will never forget! Thank you for making our family vacation perfect. With love from Norway, family O.

  Dear Esther and Dimitris, we want to thank you for your hospitality and for your super service you have given us. We have enjoyed every minute of our two weeks stay. Villa Asteri and your garden is just splendid - it was far beyond what we had expected, We have made jokes about being part of the Dynasti family (if you remember the TV series). We also thank you for your recommendations for trips and things to do here in Crete. three of us went to beautiful Elafonisi on a day trip. We have spent a lot of time at Kalamaki beach and the "Irida" restaurant is as good as you told us. We want to thank the cleaning personal - twice a week everything has been so tidy and nice! Hope to come back. Thanks from Norway
