The Jade House is a set upon a hillside on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, just south of Dominical in the beautiful Escaleras Mountain range at an elevation of 1200 feet overlooking the Ocean. Tucked behind a private gate this 8600 square foot modern balinese home has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms with 6 1/2 baths. Rich fabrics and ethnic accessories produce a tropical and luxurious effect. Upon arrival, guests of The Jade House will be treated to complimentary fresh tropical flowers, wine, Costa Rican coffee, and a selection of the areas freshest tropical fruits.
When you enter the home through the glass & steel doors your are struck by the 40ft wood lined ceilings, slate floors, and walls that fold back to the outdoor living area and pool. The flowing floor plan and mother of pearl kitchen wall rival any 5 star hotel. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are located on the entrance level and the fold back walls open up to covered outdoor living area. As you lounge under the fanned roof you can either take a dip in the 2,200 sq feet of the Indonesian rock, 3 tiered pool with swim up bar or just gaze at the Whale's tail view and breaking waves of the coast line extending to the Southern tip of Costa Rica.
Swing open the double doors to the main floor master suite. Walls that fold back and open up to a private patio and pool. A giant stone tub, double shower heads in a glass tiled shower, flat screen TV, king bed and an immense walk in closet… you will never want to leave!
The Jade House includes 4 spacious bedroom suites (3 king beds, 1 queen) w/ private bathrooms including double shower heads. A seperate office that doubles as a 5th bedroom w/ a queen bed) and media room that can accomidate 2 bunkbeds or any sleep arrangement you may need. Fully equipped professional kitchen with viking range, ice maker, side by side professional storage chefs refrigerator freezer and all that is necessary to make your meals.
Guests may access a library of books, including field guides for animal and bird recognition, games, DVD player with collection of DVD's, satellite TV, Ipod jacks throughout house, wireless network and full laundry facilities. Linens and towels, including pool/beach towels, are provided. Barbecue, and pool toys, are also available for guest use.
The Jade House is the perfect place for family gatherings, wedding parties, romantic honeymoons, hosting yearly corporate functions or just a great time with friends. With our exquisite chef services you can allow your group to sit back and enjoy an incredible meal without having to worry about the hassle and stress of cooking for a large group. Also available in house spa services that can provide a full service day spa located on-site.... pamper yourself and your guests with a relaxing massage, facials, pedicure/manicures or reiki treatments. Also available are private yoga or pilates sessions on the outdoor yoga deck. Private car, van and taxi services, English or Spanish speaking baby sitter or Spanish lessons can be arranged
Dominical is a small coastal village 20 mins North of The Jade House People are easy-going, and the relaxed atmosphere is contagious! There are various friendly beach front bars, a variety of casual restaurants and more upscale dining including Thai, italian, and Mexican. 30 minutes South of The Jade House is the small French community of Ojochal which houses the finest french dining in the southern zone. Shops in the area include a gift stores, clothes boutiques, fruit stands, banks with ATMs and a bakery. Unusual for Latin America, a high end supermarket (plus shops) caters to the most picky buyer, just 10 minutes away in Uvita.
Dominical and many beautiful, secluded beaches are just a quick drive "down the mountain" but once your sitting in the sunken living room with a blended drink… you just may never want to leave!
