Our relaxing and totally remodeled vacation home is located at the epicenter of the Desert's fine dining options. We are just minutes from the restaurants and shops on Palm Desert's El Paseo Drive and the local haunts on Highway 111. This is a true diner's delight. Your vacation home is tucked away near the end of a small cul de sac, surrounded by green space. The small complex is lovely and well maintained, nice for the after-dinner walk. The neighbors are great, when you see them.
For those who want to hike or bike, you can find great trails right out the door. Easy riding cruiser bikes provided. State Parks with short and long trails, visitor centers, nearby. Drive the palms to pines highway for a mountain vista.
Living Room
Enjoy the fresh desert air from one of two decks or even from the living room couch. Just open the sliding doors on the South facing living room wall to bring the outdoors in. The living room has space for everyone to relax with a sectional couch, two comfy armchairs, and large leather coffee table. Celestory windows and cathedral ceiling give the living area an open and light feel.
The living area opens to a very peaceful and private yet open patio with tiled fountain and wicker patio chairs. Too hot outside? Turn on the air and open the plantation shutters to maintain the desert view. Watch 40" flat screen HDTV from the living room or the dining area in the kitchen.
Kitchen
The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with maple cabinets, slider shelves, granite countertops, new stainless steel applicances including dishwasher and gas stove. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of new dishes for you and your guests, plenty of nice new pots, pans and utensils. Microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker all there. Dine in or dine out on the large west side patio with partial Mountain views.
Master Bedroom Retreat
The master bedroom serves as its own suite with a king bed, separate sitting area with loveseat, ottoman and chair and the master bath. Another 40" LCD flat screen HDTV sits in the built-in shelves for viewing from bed or sitting area. The love seat contains a twin sleeper.
Enjoy the desert sky from South facing windows with plantation shutters and 2 circular windows with lovely views. The master bath has been remodeled with an extra vanity area with view on to patio and fountain. Watch the hummingbirds while you brush your teeth! The master walk-in closet with skylight serves as dressing room with plenty of room and light. There's also tons of cabinets, drawers and a large dresser, plus desk. Wireless internet provided, just plug in your laptop. Perfect for a monthly or seasonal rental.
Second bedroom
The second bedroom has plantation shutters and a ceiling fan with a new queen size bed and single day bed for lounging or sleeping. Tile floors, nice size closet and direct access to the second bathroom with tub. Lots of ways to use this room.
Laundry/Garage
Just off the kitchen is the laundry area with washer/dryer and entryway to spacious and clean double garage with plenty of storage room for golf clubs, bikes and other toys. And - bonus - there's a brand new ping-pong table kept in the garage. Fun for the kids or grandkids. You'll find a few other children's toys, games and pool toys tucked away. Extra parking spaces for guests.
Pool/Tennis
The condo is great, but you might just spend most of your time at one of the warm and clean pools. The pool and hot tub areas have a scenic view of the San Jacinto Mountains and the desert valley. Tables and lounge chairs provided. Feel free to use our beach towels. The nearest pool is close to the condo, just a pleasant stroll down a peaceful shady path surrounded by citrus trees, mature shade trees and nice landscaping. A green space separates the pool from the tennis courts.
Convenient Location
You don't have to go far from the condo to find everything you need but if you feel like exploring you are perfectly located. We're right in the middle of all the desert cities close to many attractions including the interesting WWII Airplane Museum, The Living Desert, Children's Museum and Knotts Berry Farm Soak City waterpark. You can also see a live show or concert at the McCullum Theater. And of course you are surrounded by many beautiful golf courses. We are about 20 minutes from the Palm Springs International Airport and Palm Springs itself with its many acitivies. We keep a book with recommended restaurants and services - including some low-key restaurants where the locals dine. There are grocery stores, coffee shops and tasty local restaurants right down the street, in addition to the fancier shops on El Paseo and the affordable shopping at Westfield Mall.

We were looking for a vacation get away that gave us everything we would want in a temporary stay in the desert: Lots of sun and mountain views, easy access to a pool, shady green spaces, well maintained complex with nice neighbors, evening walks, near to golf, the higher elevation mountains, exercise, good restaurants and shopping and a clean, new, well appointed yet comfortable living space. We found it and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Coming from Montana we were looking for a vacation get away that gave us everything we would want in a temporary stay in the desert: Lots of sun and mountain views, easy access to a pool, shady green spaces, well maintained complex with nice neighbors, evening walks, near to golf, exercise, good restaurants and shopping and a clean, new well appointed yet comfortable living space. We found it and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the proximity to El Paseo together with the privacy and spaciousness offered by our complex. Plenty of opportunity for sun and shade with the many mature trees. We like being above the valley a bit for the views and on the South side of Highway 111. Not too many stoplights! Nice morning or evening strolls right out the door. Our place is freshly remodeled and stocked with all of the amenities you don't want to pack along. It's easy living for your enjoyment.
Owner's Map of Kings Point
We work and live in Montana with our children but try to get down to the desert for a blast of warm air as much as possible. We enjoy the golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, tennis, shopping and dining in the Palm Desert area. Just as much we enjoy hanging out at the condo playing games and relaxing and following our favorite sports teams, including the Vikings and Seahawks, the Twins and the Orioles, and the Trailblazers. We've made our condo nice but comfortable for easy desert living.

Bright but cool and spacious. Very clean. Have coffee on one patio with a beautiful fountain and humming birds and then have lunch on the other larger patio with a roomy table and views of the mountains. Close to the pools but not so close you can hear the splashing--if there is any. We almost always had the pool to ourselves. You can also walk to El Paseo and there is great hiking/walking right out the door or a short drive to a trail head. And bikes to use if that suits your fancy.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We had a wonderful visit at this property. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and quiet and relaxing. There are two great porches at the condo where we enjoyed eating breakfast and two very nice pools on the property. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. The big living room is great for hanging out with friends and there is a very large master bedroom. The condo is close to town and easy to find. We would definitely stay there again.

All is fabulous here. We love it here. Hiking or walking every day. After 25 years, I found out I could still hit the tennis ball well . The hummingbirds took up residence within seconds of filling the feeder and filling the pots with flowers. Richard lives on the patio each afternoon reading to the sounds of the water feature. If you ever consider selling this place, PLEASE let us know!

We walked down to the farmers market held on Wednesdays at the PS Visitor Ctr. Wonderful produce, plants , flowers, nuts, coffee and music. The hiking in the hills is too good to be true! The citrus on the trees here - delicious! Richard is feeding the hummingbirds who discovered the nectar immediately!
