Our extra large elevated lot provides the most private setting overlooking the ocean. The patio, with its private pool, is surrounded by the lush jungle, with resident wildlife including monkeys, sloths, lizards, tucans living in the corridor right next to the patio!! Relax in the pool, or on the patio while watching and listening to the ocean waves crashing on the beach across the street. All of this privacy, while in the comfort of a gated community of villas.
Services can be as basic or extravagant as you wish. The wildlife of Costa Rica awaits; enjoy a walk to our local waterfall and swing off the side into the natural pool. Ride zip lines through the jungle and catch a glimpse of a sloth. Ride horses through a beautiful farm setting, enjoying local breakfast along the way. Travel through mangroves to a lovely island for snorkeling, hiking, swimming, relaxing. And, of course, Dominical has some of the best SURF in the world!!

We purchased our home in Costa Rica because when we retire we will spend many months a year there. In the meantime our entire family enjoys visiting. We love the people of Costa Rica and all the outdoor activities that Costa Rica has to offer, like surfing, which you can't get in Colorado. We also appreciate the emphasis on preserving and educating people about the environment.

The beach is across the street, and our villa provides elevates views and ocean sounds. Our villa is very private but has the amenities of a community, providing security and privacy. We have a private pool and access to all activities is easy!

This was a delightful house with stunning views and the people there took great care of us. All the utilities worked perfect. The town was close and we could take a nice walk to the beach. The pool was awesome for the kids as well as my folks and the Toucans hanging out in the trees topped it all off!!!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

This beautiful house was a perfect spot for us. My husband and I were meeting up with my daughter & her boyfriend, who were surfing through Central America for 5 months. We mostly just hung out and surfed, but there are other activities nearby. The house's location is great - close to Dominical, with its restaurants and surf shops (one of the boards needed repair), and convenient for exploring the empty coast south of town. Just down the hill from the house is Dominicalito beach, where the local teenage surfers were having a blast. There is also a beautiful, quintessential Costa Rican waterfall with pool that you can walk to, across the river that's by the local school. The house itself is even nicer than the photos, with a big, open living area with lots of windows, and a beautiful, outside wrap-around living area with small pool. We loved hanging out on the back deck, watching the waves below and enjoying the breezes. This is a really great place to stay if you're interested in the beautiful southern part of the central coastline, and want a special place to stay.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

We spent five lovely months at this villa. Inside it's very roomy and modern with loads of windows to take advantage of the view. The kitchen came fully equipped including a dishwasher and food disposal. The two master bedrooms are large and comfortable with great views from the balconies. The villa is very private yet it enjoys the security of a gated community. The ocean view is fantastic and the villa is close enough that you can hear the sound of the surf and even the odd exuberent shout from a surfer catching the perfect wave. We were able to enjoy and photograph a wide variety of wildlife right from the deck, including toucans, a mother sloth with her baby, iguanas, agoutis, monkeys and dozens of kinds of birds. The staff were all very friendly and more than willing to help out. We really enjoyed being able to have a quick cool down in our own private pool. When we first arrived, the road to the villa was badly washed out from heavy rains, however it was repaired a couple of months later. We do, however, recommend a four wheel drive. Once you get down to the paved highway you'll find Dominicalito beach and a handful of restaurants. 3 Km North is the surfing town of Dominical with lots of restaurants and services. 13 Km South is Uvita, with even more services including two large supermarkets and several awesome beaches including the Whale's Tail. We would highly recommend this villa as a perfect vacation home!
