Wildlife and nature surround this beautiful, custom built lake home nestled in the pines on Lake O'Brien, Crosslake, MN. Main floor great room includes cathedral ceilings with views of the majestic pines and serene lake, a stone fireplace, a full service kitchen including microwave, stove, and refrigerator and dishwasher, bar seating and a dining table that can seat 10-12. A secluded porch with access to the private deck is great for games and conversation. Also on the main floor is a 1/2 bath plus a large master bedroom with king size bed, expansive lake view, small TV, Jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower.
Lower level includes a family room with TV, VCR and DVD player, full bath with external double sinks, four bedrooms (three with lakeside views and queen size beds; the fourth has two sets of bunk beds - a twin over twin and a twin over double. Other amenities: air conditioning, free long distance within the U.S., wi-fi , washer/dryer, double car garage, dock, fishing boat, pontoon, canoe, ping pong table, ladder ball, campfire area. There is great shopping, coffee house, artist studios and much more in nearby Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Nisswa. Award winning golf courses are within 30 minutes with a public course as close as 2.5 miles miles away. Sleeping capacity - 12-13 comfortably; additional beds include a queen hide-a-bed in great room and futons in the family room and porch.
Lake O'Brien is 188 acres, and one of the clearest lakes in the state, with water clarity down to 22 feet. It is a good fishing lake for northern, bass, walleye, crappies and sunfish.

You will enjoy our home year around. Each season has it's special significance. It is a place to relax and enjoy nature at it's best. From smelling the beautiful Norway Pines, feeling the warm sun and seeing and enjoying the beauty of the lake in summer to the colors and smells of fall. Winter has its own unique beauty with snow capped pines, walks on the lake - silence. Spring brings freshness with the special green of the birch trees and new growth. Any time of the year is a gift.

Please enjoy our lake home. Our family has owned the property for the last 40 years. In 2004 we decided to take down the original cabin and build a lake home that would accommodate our growing family, relatives and friends. Our vision for our lake home was that it would be a place of relaxation, peace, laughter and many special memories. We are seeing it come true and hope that you will have a very special stay.
