Soothing water on both the front and back of the house! Stand in your living room and look at the beach through both the front and rear windows! This place is so unique---where else do you find a true beach island like this? Whenever we go out to the house, we come back completely recharged and happy.
Pet Friendly! Bring your whole family---we welcome all friendly 2 and 4 legged creatures!!!!

Like a step back in time! Dauphin Island is still largely untouched by high rises, condos and large developments.
Our house is perfect for just chilling out on the water, walking along the beach, looking at the stars on the deck! We're on the north side of the sandy beach, perfect for small kids and dogs, but footsteps away from the Gulf side with the breakers. The Gulf beach is about 100 feet on the other side of the island (the island is pretty narrow there) and there are NO houses on the Gulf beach where we are, so it's like having the best of both worlds---your waterfront house overlooking the bay and your private beach on the Gulf!
Everything included---complete kitchen, bedding, TV, washer/dryer, cable TV. Wi-fi is available for an extra charge, paid to the internet company.

- Full kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV, central heat and air conditioning, bedding, towels, grill, The house is set up for wi fi.....if you ABSOLUTELY insist on bringing your laptop (we know, we've done it too) you can get weekly internet access for a small fee charged to your credit card----we don't handle that; you'd call a local phone # and they'll activate it for you), the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on one level. All the furniture is brand new! The main bedroom has a bathroom, and queen size bed, The second bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which has a bunkbed which can sleep 3 (full size mattress below and twin above), There is also in the dining alcove a dining table plus a full size futon, The living room has a couch which someone can sleep on, The kitchen is an open layout, with a counter and stools for 6 people, which opens up to the living room and looks out over the water, We also have a dining alcove, for intimate dinner

Why the Owner Chose Dauphin Island
We love this place and we love taking our poochies to the beach. They always enjoy it!!! We are so busy that alot of times we find it hard to get away. We want other people to enjoy what we have enjoyed for years. Thus the reason for renting our beach house.
