This is an unique property nestled in the western hills above Boonville, CA, Anderson Valley. Anderson Valley is known for its great redwoods and great white wines and Pinot Noir. The property has two separate homes on it. One is smaller and a more private cabin with unbelievable views of the valley. It has more decking than inside space; with two bedrooms it sleeps 4 plus there is a bonus loft. The main house is attached to the pool facilities a short walk away from the smaller home. This two bedroom, two bath, two story home is recently remodeled and sleeps two couples plus there are two futons and a couch in separate areas.
The pool facilities have a hot tub, sauna, changing rooms for men and women, bathroom, outdoor showers, outside pool bar with fridge, sinks, and ice machine, fire pit, and of course the salt pool. The arbor is recently planted to table grapes. There are rock walls and a nice little lawn for the kids to play. The entire thing is nestled in among redwoods, olive groves, a 6-acre organic pinot noir vineyard, and an acre of lavender next to a pond. Fruit trees and gardens are everywhere. There is also a large barn with a live-in on-site caretaker where we dry the lavender. You can purchase sachets if you want up there. You can also park your vehicle up there if you want covered parking.
The property is 10 minutes to the airport; 12 minutes to Boonville's shops and restaurants; and 15 minutes from all the wineries in the Valley. Despite this proximity, we are at the end of the road and you have the feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere.

Year Purchased: 1992
I'm an executive at a New York based technology company that develops marketing automation systems for major brands. I live in Alabama (see below). Prior to moving to Alabama, I ran my own consulting business in San Francisco for nearly 15 years; that's how I ended up with this wonderful ranch. My dream was to live on and off the land.
Why the Owner Chose Boonville
I've owned this property for nearly 20 years and have spent millions developing it into an unbelievable vineyard/ranch/resort home. My wonderful wife, however, is from the Southern US and prefers to raise our young children in Alabama. Therefore, rather than parting with the ranch, we've decided to rent it out until such time as I can convince her to move back!
