The Anderson house was exactly what we needed for our trip. Close to downtown, modern, clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good sized. There were fresh towels, shampoos, etc. all for our use. I felt completely at home during our stay.
Owner response:Thanks Matthew, glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back again!

It was a beautiful home. They thought of absolutely every detail from over the counter medication to toiletries. It was a fun filled weekend with friends but next time would like t make it a family affair. Thank you so much and I will definitely be back to visit!

We stayed with two other couples (6 total). Words can't explain how wonderful this home is! We all felt at home when we stayed here. The owners were very helpful, when we had questions. The home is well located and we were able to travel to Lake Travis and Downtown Austin in no time. The only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely rent this place again.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are so glad you liked The Anderson House and enjoyed your visit to Austin. Please do come again! regards, the Kelleys

I stayed in this house in July 2011, and it was one of the best decisions we made for this vacation! I met up with some friends, and it was a perfect layout for 2 couples. The house has all amenities, and even things we didn't think about. I am familiar with Austin so we already had a game plan, but it was very nice to see the personal touches such as take out menus, local information, comments from other guests - this definitely would make anybody's stay more enjoyable. We were able to get to the 6th street area very easily, and also head out to Lake Travis. It is a central location with enough action that you don't have to go far from the house to have a good time. The last night was relaxing for us since we had an old high school friend come over and we grilled on the nice gas grill. It was great for entertaining! Also, the beds and furniture were very comfortable and impeccably clean. My fiance had back surgery recently, and was very comfortable on the bed. We are always concerned about that since many hotel beds can give him sleepless nights. Overall, we felt quite at home. I hope to return to this house on our next trip to Austin. I would absolutely recommend it. Thank you for such a nice stay!
Owner response:Thank you to the Chris's for their very complimentary review of The Anderson House! We are always very pleased when our guests have had a good stay. And please do keep us in mind for your next visit to Austin! Regards, the Kelleys

We had a little trouble finding the place -- but once you find paradise there is no reason to leave! Everything about this place was perfect, even down to the proper condiments and spices! We had a wonderful time and everyone in the family that came to see us in Austin for my husband's birthday event wanted to just move right in! Greatest bed I ever slept in the deck was very cool and comfortable with the fan even in 100 degree weather. Inside the temperature was always perfect. Immaculate, perfectly decorated home. Wonderful kitchen for a group to cook in. Thanks for having such a wonderful place for us to stay!
Owner response:Thank you Donna! Glad you enjoyed your stay...come again!

We were coming into Austin for my Mother-in-law's birthday which also happened to be over the ACL weekend. The hotels were either booked up or very expensive. Since we needed 3 rooms, this turned out to be more economical. However, now that we've stayed in a house - I don't think I will stay in a hotel room again. I can't say enough about the accommodations here. The owners have pretty much anticipated the needs of their guests. The house is brand new, neat as a pin and the kitchen/bar area (the focal point of the house) is huge and perfect for entertaining. The pictures do not lie - it looks like this. The house is on a busy main street, but you would never know it when you're inside - it's very well insulated and soundproofed. The small garden and patio outside are a very nice addition. We will definitely stay here again. Oh, one more thing - when we arrived - we were starving and needed a recommendation. The owner's son, who is the property manager, suggested a couple of places, but then came back with a better recommendation plus turn-by-turn directions on how to get there. That's called going the extra mile. Thank you!
Owner response:Thank you for the kind words and we look forward to your return visit!

This felt like it was our home while we were there. Stayed for my 50th birthday....a definite "Girls Weekend" with my young aunts and cousins. There were 6 of us and we all loved it. We were all very comfortable and the best thing was that we got to watch movies together and eat breakfast together in the beautiful kitchen. The kitchen is so nice and you are going to want to spend some time there. Everything is so nicely appointed....fresh and clean and you have everything you could need at your fingertips. This is so much better than staying in a hotel. We got to everything we wanted to do very easily. It was very quiet here also. Although the road outside was busy...we never heard it. I can't say enough "good" about this home. Can't wait to go back.

House was very cute, new, updated and clean ! Plenty of space, we brought our 1 year old with us, and another couple that had 2 kids, and no one was in each other's way ! Spacious kitchen with everything you might need for cooking and entertaining. This house is very conveniently located, right by 2 major highways. Easy and quick to get anywhere in Austin ! Really nice and friendly owners....

The Anderson House is brand new, beautifully decorated and very spacious. We rented it for several company co-workers and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Location is good making it easy to get to most places in Austin very easily. I would definitely stay here again!
