Ideally situated 20 minutes north of downtown San Francisco, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and about 45 minutes drive to the world famous wine-producing valleys of Napa and Sonoma.
San Francisco attractions include cable cars, Haight/Ashbury, Fisherman’s Wharf, Coit Tower, Chinatown, Union Square, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts and Moscone Center.
Napa Valley is California’s highly lauded wine growing region, with vineyards situated on slopes and valleys of coastal mountain ranges that produce some of the world’s finest wines. The region is also famous for its great restaurants, inns and spas.
Neighboring Sonoma County is home to some of the finest orchards and vineyards, producing a greater variety of wine than any other wine-producing region in the world.
A 20 minute drive takes you to Stinson Beach and Muir Woods, home to some of the world’s oldest and most gigantic redwood trees. Minutes away are trails that you can hike along; some take you right to the coastline, through breathtaking California landscapes.
On occasion, the cottage (part of a duplex) may not be available due to long-term rentals and the calendar may not reflect this, since the studio unit may be still be available - see pictures of "studio unit" below.
