Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
Zion Vacation Home, LLC was established in 2009. We are fully licensed by the state of Utah and the town of Springdale. We strive for excellence in providing memorable vacations for our guests and their families and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Springdale
We are two professional people on an extended sabbatical. We are currently fulfilling our dream of circumnavigation the globe in our yacht. We also own this beautiful and modern home in Zion National Park located in Town of Springdale, Utah a walking distance to the magnificent Zion National Park. We spend the winter season sailing, currently the Indian Ocean, and the spring-summer-fall season managing our vacation home in Springdale. We deal directly with our guest for reservations, key exchange, cleaning, maintenance, and anything between.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our home is located at the mouth of Zion National Park. You will be able to enjoy an amazing variety of activities which range from hiking, biking, river tubing, canyoneering, rock climbing, horse riding to visiting art galleries, attending live theater productions or dining in fabulous restaurants.
Zion is a park for all seasons. Summers are warm with low humidity. Autumn is magnificent with its colors. Winters are mild with average daytime temperatures in the 50s to 60s.
No matter what the season is, the Zion National Park area is scenically beautiful. In the summertime, the red rock of the canyon walls almost seems to glow from the heat. In the wintertime, there seems to be crispness in the colors of the area that result in excellent photographs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Zion Vacation Home; the early morning and the late evenings on the deck. We visit Bryce and the North Rim of Grand Canyon. We’re able to comfortably get to all of these great places from our lovely home. The accommodations worked out perfectly! We walk, we hike, we lunched and we photographed....what a place. Thank you.

We found this place online, instead of staying in a hotel. I was here with my kids, and it was great to have a place for them to do their schoolwork; that would have been a lot more difficult in a hotel. We had a great stay, and in the end the cost wasn't any more than staying in a hotel because we were able to cook well and eat most meals in. The kitchen has everything we needed, and more. One tip, which owner passed on before we came, is that groceries are scarce in Springdale, so stock up in St. George or Cedar City on the way in. Location is great -- a few steps from the shuttle into Zion. We parked our car and other than a day trip out to Kolob Canyon, didn't have to drive anywhere. The best things about the place are the sunny living room, the hammock on the front porch with the view of the Zion cliffs above, and owner's kindness and hospitality. They are very interesting people, and at the end of the stay, my younger son was ready to move in!

It was a full week for our mountain biking crew from Michigan. We rode Gooseberry Mesa, Gould’s Rim, Little Creak, Brian Head, Swamp Trail and more. While not riding we hiked the Narrows and Angels’ Landing and Visit/hike Bryce too. Zion Vacation Home was a great launching pad for our adventure in this beautiful Red Rock town. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. The views from the windows/deck were just awesome. The house was so adequately furnished with everything to make our stay so comfortable and pleasant. Happy to be here

We had a great time here! Perfect home for extended family.Comfortable, nicely furnished and felt spacious.Beautiful views too.Highlight-seeing Big Horned Sheep-lots of them (50 or so) between the tunnels. Hiking to Canyon Overlook-spectacular view.Bigest highlight was the canyonering. Sad to leave-nice to know there is still much more to explore for next time. Helpful votes: 2 / 2

We spent an extended weekend in Springdale - in this beautiful home on a quiet dead end street, walk to the park entrance in 15 minutes. The deck outside is great for BBQ or just to enjoy the mountains surrounding the house. Our rooms were large, full of light and had comfortable beds. The hosts who are well versed in rock climbing were great and provided a lot of information about the area in general and Zion trails and hikes in particular. We highly recommend this place for a great family vacation. We will definitely be back.

This vacation home is spacious and an amazing retreat from lack-luster hotels with noisy neighbors. Located on a private road, yet 4 minute walk from great restaurants and gift shops in the small town of Springdale. It was an amazing one week stay, with a large well equipped kitchen, view capturing patio, and large, clean rooms. Easily the best place to stay in Springdale, and we have stayed at most of them coming here regularly for the last 13 years. Highly recommended for families and groups who want to have a week of bliss in Zion.
