Enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Wheeler Lake, a 293 acre full recreational lake, situated in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest with two uninhabited islands for you to explore. Listen to the loons sing while you enjoy an evening out on the lakefront patio. Our cottage is situated a stones throw away from abundant water activities including swimming, fishing, skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. The property includes a 26+ foot pier on site for docking your watercraft as well as the use of two kayaks and a rowboat.
Nicolet National Forest also offers an abundance of fall and winter activities including hunting, miles and miles of ATV and snowmobile trails plus groomed cross country ski trails.
This year round cottage is our "home away from home". It is well maintained and always clean. Additional amenities include washer, dryer and ample firewood for indoor or outdoor use.

Our family purchased this year round second home in October, 2004, after looking at many other areas and cottages. We fell in love with the crystal clear water and the gorgeous view out the front window. The Lakewood area offers a family friendly small town atmosphere with unique shops and affordable cafes and restaurants.
