My two bedroom condo was completely renovated for everyone to enjoy. We've been told it is one of the nicest places at the Iron Horse Resort and received a 5 star rating out of 5 from the resort.
Relax and feel like you "are on vacation" with all the amenities and comforts of home.

Originally from Michigan I moved to Colorado 25 years ago to enjoy the mountains/skiing and the beauty of Colorado. I consider Iron Horse Resort my great escape to relax, recharge and have a lot of fun with my friends and family. It truly is a beautiful area- one that I always enjoy going back to. It is not built up like the other resorts and the people are friendly. I enjoy skiing/snowmobiling in the winter and mountain biking, fishing and ATVing in the summer. I currently reside in Denver, Colorado.
Why the Owner Chose Iron Horse
I chose Winter Park because it is the "last frontier" in Colorado and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Denver (airport)- making this the most convenient location to enjoy the mountains. It is not built up like most ski towns and it has all the amenities in a resort setting. With the base of Winter Park being tastefully built this provides entertainment/dining within walking distance. There is skiing for every level. If you are a intermediate to expert skier Mary Jane is great!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Unique benefits- During the ski season the restaurant is at the resort. You can rent your ski equipment by stepping right outside your door. You can also store your equipment right at the SKi Depot. Iron Horse resort also provides transportation to the town of Winter Park which is about a 5 minute ride. If you want to work out or just relax in the hot- tub its all here.

this condo is in a great location - in the same building as the pool and hot tubs and down one flight of stairs and out the door to the onsight ski rental shop where you can store your skis for free overnight. The Iron Horse complex is within walking distance of the ski village (down the Corridor ski trail), where we enjoyed eating at Cheeky Monk and Goodies for crepes. Condo was very clean and comfy, although the lighting is a little dim. Although the snow was bad the week we were here (over half of the ski area was closed), we will definitely be back to ski Winter Park. The resort is huge and has tons of great runs for us advanced intermediate skiers. There are shuttle busses, but we had a car which allowed us to eat out in the surrounding Winter Park area - we loved Hernando's for pizza, Tabernash Tavern for steak, Deno's, and Smokin' Moe's for the ribs. Another big benefit to staying here was the FREE underground parking (to park at Winter Park resort can cost up to $20 a day elsewhere).
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful time at Winter Park and the condo was just perfect. We skiied four days and had a blast. The condo was a perfect size for the 6 of us. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience. We will be back for sure again!

This place is awesome! It is very comfortable and spacious. The ski-in/ski-out access is awesome - super convenient! KItchen is very well stocked! There are games, cable, books - and cosy furniture! The beds are very comfortable. Jennifer was a stellar host, super accommodating for us. She obviously loves the area and the place - it really shows. Highly recommended!
