It's a Bama Football weekend, and the Bama Retreat Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay! Our guest quarters are so much more comfortable than a hotel! You'll find a photo page of our Bed and Breakfast that will show you several other options within our home. Join our family for a fun weekend of Bama Football, and lakeside enjoyment!
Our "smoke-free" guest quarters are located on the lowest level of our 3-story home, and keys are provided for a private entrance. The entire floor is flooded with light, and gorgeous unobstructed views of the lake through expansive windows in every room. There is a large bedroom with a sleeping loft, a bathroom with a tub/shower. The living area/game room is off the bedroom, and an indoor-heated swimming pool is in the sunroom (locked for child security) next to this. The guest quarters are intended for 2 adults, with 1-3 children allowed at no extra cost. We also offer extra bedrooms, for an additional price, if you are traveling with more than 2 adults in your party. We have the Cozy Country Bedroom (bathroom in hall) for $100 per night, The Cozy Cottage West Wing for $150 per night, The Cozy Cottage Suite (2 bedrooms)for $250 per night, and the Arabian Nights Bedroom (with private bathroom) for $150 per night. Our posted calendar will only show a red booking if every single room in our home is full, so be sure to check your dates with us by e-mail.
Our Bama Game Room is GREAT! It has a mini-bar area with a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave available for your use. The decor is definitely ALL Bama with Daniel Moore prints mounted to the crimson walls, a houndstooth couch, and other neat Bama memorabilia! This room also has a full-size Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, 42" Flat-Screen TV with Surround Sound, and mulitiple gaming systems. If you have young children, we have a toy closet full of games, Legos, blocks, and dolls that will keep them busy for hours!
Just step outside the door, and enjoy the large outdoor swimming pool, the lake, boats, or playground area. We have a large covered deck with plenty of tables, chairs, and loungers.
Your stay can be as private as you'd like, or as interactive with our family as you'd like. We always invite our guests to join us for a big country-style breakfast, if they're in the mood for a family atmosphere. So, ya'll come on down to the Roberts' Bama Retreat Bed and Breakfast!

- Lakefront: We are located on twin, private neighborhood lakes. Each lake is approximately 17 to 20 acres in size, and 27 to 35 feet in depth - great fishing! Our home sits directly on the lakefront.

- Computer: You are welcome to come upstairs to use our computer and printer. We also have a laptop that can be used downstairs. Or, bring your own and connect to our Wi-Fi!

- No Pets Allowed: We have our own 8lb. happy dog, and a big, fat cat, on the premises. Be aware, in case you have allergies!
- Kid Friendly: The pool and lake are NOT secured by a fence from the guest quarters or house. If you have small children, you are advised to keep the doors locked while inside the house with your children to prevent them from wandering outside. We do have an alarm system on the house that chimes if any door is opened. The indoor pool is separated from the Bama Game Room by locked French doors. There are no life-guards, and you swim at your own risk.

Year Purchased: 2002
We built this, our dream house, after loosing our other home to a tornado in 2000. We're both school teachers, and we run a rental home business. We love to entertain, and we often host visitors in our home. Some of our former guests include Hurricane Katrina victims, and other visitors from all over the world - we're a host family for the University of Alabama's Foreign Language Department. Our children are older now, so we decided as a family to try something new - a Bed & Breakfast! We hope this will be a fun experience of getting to know other Bama Families from all over the place! Why the Owner Chose Tuscaloosa
We built our home in this lovely location because of the quiet beauty of the lake, and its close proximity to town. We thought about building on Lake Tuscaloosa, but it's so far away from everything! We also wanted a quiet lake instead of one that sounded like the interstate! Our lake does not allow motor boats, so instead you only hear the sounds of nature all around you!
The Unique Benefits of this Guest Quarters
We have a fully stocked lake and the fishing gear to go with it! You can fish from the pier, use the paddle boat, or use the fishing boat with the trolling motor. We also have a great outdoor heated swimming pool, an indoor exercise pool, pool table, air hockey table, and much more. You are welcome to join our family for breakfast in the morning, or sleep in and have breakfast on your own.
