It's a Bama Football weekend, and the Bama Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay! Our bed and breakfast inn is so much more comfortable than a hotel! We have 4 bedrooms/ 3 suites in our 7,000 square foot bed and breakfast. We are open year round, so check us out when you make your next visit to Tuscaloosa!

Join our family for a fun weekend of Bama Football, lakeside enjoyment, and a southern-style breakfast! We ARE open year-round, so check with us for a gymnastic, basketball, baseball, or graduation weekend.

We had a great time at the BAMA B&B over the Thanksgiving 2012 holiday. Beautiful home , great views of the lake from the house , and really nice people that run the facility.We would recommend the Bama B&B very highly , to anybody that is looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Tuscaloosa area. Great hosts , great facility , great Sunday breakfast - could not have been better !!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wonderful B&B! Comfortable, clean, beautiful property. Excellent breakfast and nice "happy hour". The pool and lake are very nice and contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. The owners are very nice and friendly - they go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed the homecoming weekend. The property was outstanding, as was the hospitality. Convenient to get to the game. Would highly recommend these guys for a fun stay. We arrived late due to traveling from South Carolina and were so happy to see this beautiful large spacious home. What gracious people! Rooms were lovely,beds big and comfy,coffee in each room,bathroom was perfect! Breakfast is fit for a king! We were gone all day Saturday for the game but would love to have sat by the pool or lake with a book all day. Returning soon to the Bama Bed and Breakfast! Kim, Mark and the Entire Roberts Family, you guys are amazing. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. My family adored your family. Your home and family are simply beautiful. Thank you for welcoming me and my family into it. While the property is beautiful and relaxing, I think our favorite times were when we interacted with your family. Breakfast was delicious and so much fun, we loved sitting at the table sharing stories with everyone. While we came only expecting a nice place to stay, we left with new found FRIENDS!!!! I would definitely recommend your home to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, fun, relaxing place to stay... Oh my, I do not know where to begin--My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bama Bed & Breakfast for 3 different weekends during the Alabama 2011 football season.We were so weary and tired of the overpriced hotels in the Tuscaloosa area. The Bama Bed & Breakfast was our answer! The Roberts home is not only beautiful but also so warm and welcoming. Not only did we fall in love with the Bama B&B but we also fell in love with the Roberts family. I would strongly recommend this B&B to everyone--you will not be disappointed. Oh, and one more note--you will also enjoy the most wonderful and delicious homecooked breakfasts that are served on a beautiful set of ROLL TIDE dishes! My husband and I are already planning a return visit to the Bama B&B for the 2012 football season. ROLL TIDE!! The Bama B&B is a spectacular residence with great lake views and very comfortable accommodations. We stayed at the guest house and loved it. It was like having a home away from home. It was only a minute walk to the main house for breakfast. Kim and her family are so nice and set the perfect example of southern hospitality. Can't wait for another opportunity to visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

For our first Bed-and-breakfast exoerience, what we encountered far exceeded anything we would have expected. The accommodations were well done and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the hospitality was superb! This will become our first choice in the future for Tuscaloosa weekends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

This weekend my husband, 7 yr. old daughter and I stayed at a wonderful home owned by an even more wonderful family! I stumbled upon the Bama Bed and Breakfast as I searched for a place for us to stay for the Alabama/Tennessee game. Lucky for us, they had a room available! I was so delighted to hear that our daughter was going to have some kids to play with because other families were also there for the weekend! Marc even heated the pool for the kids so they could go for a swim. The kids played all afternoon, swimming, fishing, and playing on the gym set! To say this house is beautiful is an understatment! It is fabulous...right out of a magazine! All the rooms are absolutely beautiful as well as comfortable. We stayed in the "Arabian" room which was perfect for our family of three. The pictures on the website only give a hint of how gorgeous this home and property are! She had it decorated fun for Halloween which was perfect for the kids! We only had 2 tickets to the game, so I stayed behind and relaxed by the pool and then I joined Kim and her daughters in front of the big screen as we kicked back and cheered the TIDE to a victory over Tennessee!! Kim and her family prepared a delicious breakfast each morning and when it was ready, the blessing was said and we all sat around a huge table and enjoyed each others company while we ate. This is a perfect place to stay if you are in the Tuscaloosa area...Kim and Marc really go out of their way to welcome everyone into their beautiful lake front home as if you were members of their family yourself. They welcome familes, couples, groups of friends, and YES, even fans from the other teams!! ;) We LOVED staying at the Bama Bed and Breakfast, and plan to book our room here many more times in the future!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We built this, our dream house, after losing our other home to a tornado in 2000, and a 2nd home to a fire in 2006. We're both retired school teachers, and we run a rental home business. We love to entertain, and we often host visitors in our home. Some of our former guests include Hurricane Katrina victims, and other visitors from all over the world - we're a host family for the University of Alabama's Foreign Language Department. Our children are older now, so we decided as a family to try something new - a Bed & Breakfast! We have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of getting to know other Bama Families from all over the county! Roll Tide!
Why the Owner Chose Tuscaloosa:
We built our home in this lovely location because of the quiet beauty of the lake, and its close proximity to town. We thought about building on Lake Tuscaloosa, but it's so far away from everything! We also wanted a quiet lake instead of one that sounded like the interstate! Our lake does not allow motor boats, so instead you only hear the sounds of nature all around you!
The Unique Benefits at this Bed And Breakfast:
We have a fully stocked lake and the fishing gear to go with it! You can fish from the pier, use the paddle boat, or use the fishing boat with the trolling motor. We also have a great outdoor heated swimming pool, an indoor exercise pool, pool table, air hockey table, a small friendly dog, 3 spoiled cats, and much more. You are welcome to join our family for breakfast in the morning, or sleep in and have breakfast on your own.
