Oh my, I do not know where to begin--My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bama Bed & Breakfast for 3 different weekends during the Alabama 2011 football season. We were so weary and tired of the overpriced hotels in the Tuscaloosa area. The Bama Bed & Breakfast was our answer! The Roberts home is not only beautiful but also so warm and welcoming. Not only did we fall in love with the Bama B&B but we also fell in love with the Roberts family. I would strongly recommend this B&B to everyone--you will not be disappointed. Oh, and one more note--you will also enjoy the most wonderful and delicious homecooked breakfasts that are served on a beautiful set of ROLL TIDE dishes! My husband and I are already planning a return visit to the Bama B&B for the 2012 football season. ROLL TIDE!! Sincerely, BamaB&Bfans

The Bama B&B is a spectacular residence with great lake views and very comfortable accommodations. We stayed at the guest house and loved it. It was like having a home away from home. It was only a minute walk to the main house for breakfast. Kim and her family are so nice and set the perfect example of southern hospitality. Can't wait for another opportunity to visit.

For our first Bed-and-breakfast exoerience, what we encountered far exceeded anything we would have expected. The accommodations were well done and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the hospitality was superb! This will become our first choice in the future for Tuscaloosa weekends.

This weekend my husband, 7 yr. old daughter and I stayed at a wonderful home owned by an even more wonderful family! I stumbled upon the Bama Bed and Breakfast as I searched for a place for us to stay for the Alabama/Tennessee game. Lucky for us, they had a room available! I was so delighted to hear that our daughter was going to have some kids to play with because other families were also there for the weekend! Marc even heated the pool for the kids so they could go for a swim. The kids played all afternoon, swimming, fishing, and playing on the gym set! To say this house is beautiful is an understatment! It is fabulous...right out of a magazine! All the rooms are absolutely beautiful as well as comfortable. We stayed in the "Arabian" room which was perfect for our family of three. The pictures on the website only give a hint of how gorgeous this home and property are! She had it decorated fun for Halloween which was perfect for the kids! We only had 2 tickets to the game, so I stayed behind and relaxed by the pool and then I joined Kim and her daughters in front of the big screen as we kicked back and cheered the TIDE to a victory over Tennessee!! Kim and her family prepared a delicious breakfast each morning and when it was ready, the blessing was said and we all sat around a huge table and enjoyed each others company while we ate. This is a perfect place to stay if you are in the Tuscaloosa area...Kim and Marc really go out of their way to welcome everyone into their beautiful lake front home as if you were members of their family yourself. They welcome familes, couples, groups of friends, and YES, even fans from the other teams!! ;) We LOVED staying at the Bama Bed and Breakfast, and plan to book our room here many more times in the future!

My son and I stayed at The Bama Bed & Breakfast for the Alabama vs. Arkansas game and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed into their beautiful home like we were part of their family except they did all the cooking and the dishes:) We stayed in the Bama Guest Quarters and was amazed how much room we had and the beautiful view of the lake that you wake up to in the morning. Breakfast was wonderful and it was great sharing stories with the other guest. I would definitely recommend staying here. And by the way....Alabama did win Roll Tide!

The Bama Bed and Breakfast was a perfect choice for home base during my daughter's graduation from the University of Alabama. Family members met and congregated at the BB&B but it was close enough to campus to be at the official events in 10 minutes. The facility was spacious, architectually interesting, and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the air hockey, big screen tv and kittens. And the hosts were friendly and gracious. We recommend theBB&B to those looking for something better than motel stay in Tuscaloosa

We spent the weekend of the Bama vs Mississippi State game in the downstairs bedroom with the Bama game room. We had the best time ever !!! And we go to every single home game, so that is saying a lot !! Marc and Kim were just fantastic as were their children. They made us feel like a part of the family. As for the room and game room, thepicture do not do it justice. This is my dream game room !! We had so much fun playing pool, air hockey and also enjoyed the indoor pool. Everything was top notch !! My husband and I hope to spend a lot more game weekends here and even get in a spring or summer visit !! The lake is so beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxing that we both are excited about our next stay at the Bama B& B. Oh, and the food is YUM !! I love a big country breakfast !! We just cant wait to go back !!!! ROLL TIDE !!!!!!!

Our stay was perfect. The Bama Bed & Breakfast is beautiful and you feel so secluded but are only a few miles from campus and all the action. We hope tp stay with Marc and Kim again on another visit to Tuscaloosa.

We stayed at this property the Friday and Saturday of Homecoming 2010 and had a great experience. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a B&B for our Tuscaloosa Homecoming visit, but the property and experience was more positive than we imagined. The property is a great game weekend venue and the Robert's Family made us feel very warm and at ease in their home. The breakfast was delicious and also very convenient. The property is great for a weekend Tuscaloosa visit and the accommodations were very comfortable with plenty of space in all the rooms that we accessed. I was a little concerned about the distance to the stadium, but that turned out not to be an issue at all. It was an easy 10-15 minute drive to the stadium and heart of campus. The conversations and interaction with the other guests and Robert's family only enhanced the visit. We would definitely recommend this property!

We stayed at the Bama Bed and Breakfast in the Bama quarters downstairs for the Florida game. It was one of the most enjoyable weekends we have ever had and led to a very, stress-free trip to the game. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the website pictures do not do it justice - inside or out. It sits on a beautiful lake and has a big pool in the back yard. It is close to the stadium and for the most part, you are traveling AWAY from the traffic after the game. There is only a short stretch of traffic on 359 until you pass the 20/59 interchange. It did not take us long at all to get back to the house. The Roberts family is so gracious. They ALL make sure you have everything you need. Kim had wine, cheese and cookies available at check-in. We opted for the breakfast both mornings and it was the BEST. The family cooked and served homemade biscuits with homemade chocolate syrup, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc., and it was an all you can eat buffet. It was wonderful to talk with the family and other guests, but I felt that we had plenty of privacy. Since it was a night game, we took advantage of the property amenities during the day by taking the paddle boat out on the lake and relaxing in the lakefront hammock. In addition to the private bed and bath, the Bama Quarters has access to an indoor pool, pool table, air hockey, Wii game, flat screen television with DVD player and DVD's, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, wet bar, etc. The Bama decor is so much fun - they even have a hounds tooth fabric sectional sofa. This is the BEST KEPT SECRET in Tuscaloosa. If you are looking for a family-friendly, upscale experience, I highly recommend this property. Melanie and Don 10/10

We stayed here to attend an Alabama football game and it just made our weekend the best! So easy to get to the stadium and campus, beautiful home and location, a wonderful breakfast and great company. It was far better than staying in a hotel and would highly recommend to others. We felt like old friends by the time we left. The Brown's are so hospitable and make you feel so welcome in their home. We will definitely reserve it next time we go to "T" town!

We stayed in the upstairs area with the 2 rooms and the sitting area. It was very cozy and comfortable! Saturday breakfast was delicious. Eggs, sausage (links and patties), grits, biscuits and SUPER yummy (homemade)cocoa syrup. MmmmMmmmMmmmm... The Roberts' were very nice and extremely hospitable. We enjoyed staying with them and will definatly book with them again and bring the kids. :) It was truely a home away from home experience. ROLL TIDE!

Kim, Marc and family were some of the nicest people we have ever met! We hesitated staying in someone's home, as we have never done the bed and breakkfast arrangement. We were very pleasantly surprised. The Roberts were very sweet and even gave us a ride to meet our daughter before the game. The breakfast was very good and they even shared their Koona coffee from Hawaii. The house is even prettier than in the pictures. If you are going to stay in Tuscaloosa, you should definitely stay with them! ROLL TIDE!
