Boat launch less than a mile away as well as a state park. Tie your boat up and enjoy the canal as much as you like. The water is awesome in the summer and warm. Alderbrook is across the canal by a 10 minute boat ride or you can drive around. Makes a nice place to go for a drink or brunch.
