This beautiful creekside cabin in the trees at the edge of Dorrington Meadow is perfect for a romantic getaway or a solitary retreat. The cabin has an updated kitchen and bath. There is a private deck overlooking the creek.
The cabin is about 5 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees State Park, 20 minutes from Bear Valley Ski resort and is a short drive to the historic gold rush towns of Murphys, Columbia, Angels Camp and San Andreas. There are several good restaurants in the area, and wine tasting is available at award winning local wineries. Area attractions include a variety of outdoor sports, caves and caverns, and several small historic museums.
Visitors should know what the cabin does NOT have:
There is no television reception or high speed internet access (there is an internet cafe nearby- bring your own computer)
Most cell phones will not work in this location
Shower only, no tub
Due to severe fire danger, no fires are permitted indoors or out- no candles or incense, please
