The flat is perfectly located on Lupus Street, which is in Pimlico, Victoria. All important tourist attractions (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace etc) are nearby, as is Tate Britain Museum.

The apartment is fully furnished and includes all bed and bath linens as well as all kitchen equipment. One bedroom is a double bedroom with a King-size (American Queen) and the other bedroom is a Trundle bed that pulls out to sleep two, if needed.

The apartment offers plenty of storage space for all your luggage (and shopping!).

Pimlico is a unique area as it is very central and close to London's main shopping areas and tourist attractions, yet quiet and residential. It was built by Thomas Cubitt, one of London's great Victorian architects, and constructed as a grid of white houses along wide leafy streets. By staying at our apartment, you will enjoy a very comfortable and convenient Central London stay, while living in a protected Period Property Area. Close to our street is a charming village square with a very nice restaurants (frequented by members of Parliament), several grocery stores, a dry-cleaner, cute cafes, delicatessen shops and boutiques. There are also several Pizza take-out as well as eat-in restaurants.

The apartment itself is very charming due to its high ceilings and French windows that let in lots of sunlight as well as a balcony, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or even a meal on the beautiful mosaic table.

The apartment is unbelievably well connected for all the tourist sites of London. The 24 bus stops on our street and takes you past almost every important London sight without you even having to change the bus! Get on in the morning with a coffee to go and sit right at the top from where you can enjoy the view while you drive past bustling Victoria Station, Westminster Abbey and Parliament Square, drive up Whitehall, along the Houses of Parliament and past No 10 Downing Street, watch the Changing of the Guards, and then on to Trafalgar Square, and then into the heart of Theatre Land, past the British Museum and further North to Hampstead Heath! Buy a Day Travel pass and you can get on and off whenever you feel like it - for instance, get off at Trafalgar Square to walk up The Mall to Buckingham Palace!)

Alternatively, get on the 11 Bus from Victoria Station and go along the same route as the 24 until Trafalgar Square, but then turn down the Strand, Aldwych (past the Houses of Justice), past Bank, via St. Paul's Cathedral (walk to Tate Modern Museum across the river on the famous Millennium Bridge) and then takes you to Liverpool Street, East London's main central station.

For your evening outings, the 24 Bus takes you directly to Soho, the heart of London's Theatreland!

Year Purchased: 2006

My parents purchased this flat for me, but I live with my husband now, so am happy to rent this out to people visiting our beautiful city. I loved living in this apartment as it is filled with light and on the first floor, where I felt safe. it is seriously SUPER CENTRAL: You are in the middle of London (Zone 1!) and due to the excellent public transport connections, you can be anywhere in London within 10 minutes of leaving the house!

Why the Owner Chose Westminster

This apartment is incredibly central as it is located in Zone 1. It is less than 5 minutes walk from Pimlico tube station, which is on the Victoria line and 1 stop from Victoria Station, one of London's main central tube, bus and railway stations. You can be in the world's busiest shopping area, Oxford Circus (Topshop & Selfridges) or the world's most prestigious shopping area of Piccadilly within 7 minutes of getting onto the tube in Pimlico. It is situated 3 minutes walk from the river Thames: enjoy a stroll along the Embankment or walk to Battersea Park. Alternatively, take a 5 minute ride on the 24 Bus, which stops on the street or take a brisk walk along the river Thames to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and all the important London sights! As it is within the Constitutional Bell, this area is one of the safest in London.

    • We were desperately looking for a place to stay for my sister's wedding which happened in London, when I found that apartment at the last minute! We stayed there for 9 days,a couple and two singles, and we felt really comfortable. The location is wonderful, very near to Pimlico station, which is just 3 stops from Oxford Circus with Victoria line. The building was nice and clean, the flat was well decorated and got everything we needed! Pia is such a lovely person, she was there when we needed her, Thank you Pia.. Hope we can meet again!

    • We LOVED staying in this flat during our family vacation last week! Great location - two short blocks from Pimlico Tube station; or half mile walk to Victoria Station. Plus, the #24 Bus stop is right outside and will take you to/from Trafalgar Sq, Leicester Sq, etc. Awesome! Our family of 4 (parents & 2 teenagers) was very comfortable, and Pia was a great host (even when we were 2 hours late arriving!) I can't imagine that you will find a better value for your money. Thanks, Pia. We loved it, and can't wait to come back and explore more of your great city.
