Nestled in the upscale north Glendale area of the nearby Thunderbird Mountain park, this 1900 sf. beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home is perfect for your vacation get away. Relax beside our south facing gorgeous, private, pebble tec pool with a water feature in one of several lounge chairs. Or spend a lazy day on the patio sunning yourself with a good book.
This home is the perfect place to enjoy an evening dinner al fresco while taking in one of Arizona's famous sunsets. Just a few blocks away is Thunderbird Mountain Park where you'll find the perfect setting for hiking, biking, horseback riding, sightseeing, or gazing upon those sunsets. Inside, you'll find a great room/eat in kitchen area along with a separate dining and living room.
The great room looks out onto a beautiful covered patio and of course the gorgeous pool just beyond. Each bedroom has new Sealy posturpedic mattress and boxsprings, with a king size bed in the master suite, and a queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is currently used for our own private storage. The split floor plan allows privacy for the master suite which is located away from the other 2 bedrooms.
Please no pets, and no smoking. The complete kitchen is equipped with all that you'll need including cooking utensils, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, range and a new side-by-side refrigerator and icemaker. A new washer and dryer are inside the home (not in the garage). A 3 car garage with an opener allows you to park your vehicle inside. We are located just over a mile away from the 101 freeway, providing easy access to world class shopping, restaurants, major sports facilities, and golf courses.
If you live to drink and party, this is not the home for you. Our setting is a beautiful, peaceful, upper middle class neighborhood. If you value privacy, cleanliness, and contentment, you'll value our vacation home.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Coming from the midwest, we looked for a place with plenty of sunshine - 330 days of sunshine in fact. Glendale certainly does provide that and so much more. From the sports arena, spring training, nascar racing, hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, and shopping, there is so much to do. While our home is in the middle of all this, it is also a peaceful retreat from the stress of life. We like to sit by the pool, soak up the sun, and relax. A welcome get-away from the cold, snow, and numerous cloudy days.

We spent 2 weeks here in May 2011 and really enjoyed our visit. The owners were great to work with. We appreciate working with people like this who follow through on their committments...and they did. They were a true pleasure to work with. The home is beautiful ! Very well equipped kitchen and the entire home is furnished very tastefully. We spent lots of time in the backyard enjoying the pool and of course Arizona's plentyful sunshine. Thunderbird Mountain Park is literally right down the street. This park (1185 acres) has lots of hiking trails and scenic views which we enjoyed virtually every morning. It's a great way to start the day (after coffee of course :-) and get your blood pumping. We felt it a great luxery to have this park so close and never need a car to get there and start our morning hike. It's in a nice upscale neighborhood and close to grocery stores and all the other shopping we needed to do during our stay. We'll definately stay here again when in the area.

This home exceeded our expectations and we feel the description understates the property. It is situated in a upscale neighborhood with excellent proximity to shopping and the 101 freeway. It is clean and comfortably furnished with all the amenties. Followup and attention to detail by the owners made the entire rental and move-in process a pleasure. We stayed at the property for a week in January 2011 and had a great time. They really usdersold the property as it was nicer than we expected based upon previous VRBO experiences. The house was very well equipted and had almost all of the comforts of home with lots of small appliances that you would not normally expect. The house was very clean and nicly decorated. The owners were very professional to deal with and followed though on all of the committments they made. We would be very happy to stay there again when we next visit the greater Phoenix area.
