Mission Lakes, Southwestern Condo in Desert Hot Springs

We rented this condo from 15 October 2009 to 15 March 2010. We really enjoyed our stayed in this condo complex, and had a wonderful time with all our neighbors. The condo was very clean and had ample space for two people. If you have guests who may wish to stay overnight they only have the pull out couch. I would not recommend sleeping on this any longer than that, plus the coffee table and other furniture get in the way. I would recommend this condo to anyone, but the watch out for are: I. The noise from upstairs neighbors walking across the floor or moving furniture can be very annoying. 2. Ensure you get your damage deposit back. I have been waiting for mine now since March 2010 and it is now November 2010. This has included several calls from me, and so for nothing. The landlord has no email address or internet (that I'm aware of), so I'm forced to make international calls to leave a message.
Owner response:Thank you for your recommendation "I would recommend this condo to anyone".We do insure that the unit is always very clean and that our guests enjoy their stay with us..Please allow me to address your concerns.1).."Noise from upstairs"..Unfortunately, during your stay the upstairs unit had been rented for 30 days..(corresponding with your stay) to a couple that were not as considerate as they should have been..this is def. the exception..not the rule as most renters are very quiet and considerate of others.2) 'Delay of Damage Depost"..the home address on file was incorrect and the deposit was "returned to sender".Our policy is to insure that any monies owed to our guests are ALWAYS forwarded within 30 days of the guests departure!..Lastly, contrary to the statement of "Landlord having no email address" the fact is their are 2 email contacts for our guests.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
