Bonita Springs, known as The Gateway to The Gulf, offers the unique and inviting Old Florida lifestyle of a charming small beach town. Here, the Gulf of Mexico is warm and clear, great for swimming, boating, and fishing. The powder beaches in Bonita Springs go for miles and the sunsets are spectacular.
Our sanctuary, The Village Walk of Bonita Springs is a lakefront community of luxury single-family, patio, and town homes. It is located north of Marco Island and just between Naples and Fort Myers. The Village Walk has an attractive 24-hour guardhouse entry and lakefront Town Center (the "Town"). Truly the pinnacle of resort style living, the Town has numerous amenities. The community is very active with a full time Activities Director and over 40 regularly scheduled activities and typically 15 special events each month.
Our three-Bedroom home (sleeps 6-8 people) has been decorated to capture the refined style of southwest Florida. Guests of our home can enjoy retail businesses which include a restaurant, bank, hair and nail salon, and travel agency. The Town has meeting rooms, a ballroom, card room, library, wireless internet access and is staffed to meet your needs. A resort pool, lap pool, basketball court, bocce court, kid’s playground and eight tennis courts complete the Town.
On the south side of Village Walk is a surprise treasure - a Mile Long Walking Path. Although the landscape is brand new, you can almost feel the cool shade these seedlings will offer in no time at all; the birds that will make their home in the branches and all the friends you will meet along the way. Benches line this path to further enhance your enjoyment of this fabulous trail.

Our craving for vacationing in seclusion and comfort was fulfilled at the Village Walk of Bonita Springs. Accented on travelers’ privacy and coziness, Bonita enables us to enjoy vacation in our own way. Whether we want to observe the dark beauty of the lake in the evening or want to walk through the beaches late at the night, all we want do is here without any restriction. After enjoying the day on seashore, sight seeing, or shopping we find relaxation at night by listening to music, watching TV, enjoying movies in CD players or reading books. When we get hungry, we cook desired dishes in our well-equipped kitchen or dine at Table 82 , a grill style café located in the Village Walk Community. The café offers lunch and dinner, outside terrace dining and poolside take out. Table 82 also offers a full bar and affordable dining.

It offers inspired sunsets daily, and it beckons everyone from the rugged outdoor enthusiasts to refined sophisticates with championship golf, big-game fishing, eco-tours, sailing, kayaking, parasailing, theaters, art galleries, opera, ballet and world-class culinary fare. No matter what you are into, it seems life's just better here.

This is our home place. Many of the property owners are like us in that they are seeking respite from high stress professions – attorneys, CFO’s, surgeons, to name a few. They are drawn to Bonita to get away for the rigors of life, want to slow things down, watch things roll by. It was not our initial goal to live in Florida, but the lushly landscaped yard overlooking the lake with southern exposure, surrounding private lanai, free form pool and elegant brick pavers that flowed down our driveway to an inviting entrance made us want to stay.

This must have been a first time rental because there was no greeting gift or note upon arrival. The home was spacious and had a nice flow and open concept. HOWEVER, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were not fully furnished. 2nd had queen bed and dressor and tv. Very nice but a night stand would have been nice with a lamp. The 3rd bedroom had a bed. Period, no headboard, no dresser no TV . The master was well furnished and had a king bed. I would have liked to make this my go to home every Feb but was told that we "scratched" the table in the dining area and until they had it repaired they would not refund my $300. We took exceptional care not to do harm to this home. We even purchased a tablecloth so that our dominoes would not scratch the table. We eventully received a refund. The other negative was we were unable to get our mail because they did not leave a proper key. While they did attempt to resolve this issue we ended up dealing with the post master to get our mail directly. The listing said the beaches were within a few miles - 15 miles to me is not near. While I didn't really care about the beaches, the couple we shared the rental with were very diappointed to have to travel so far. Overall, if this property were furnished a little better, had a heated pool and the owners would expect a little harmless wear to furniture, it is a good unit. The washer and dryer were great. The location is right in the middle of anything you would want to see both North and South. I personally liked the unit but not the cold weather of 2010 Feb.
