Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2008
I am a retired Californian who decided to purchase a condominium in Hawaii to use as a vacation home for myself and my growing family (two grandchildren in two years!). I may eventually live there full time with my husband, but for now would like to rent it for some additional income. My husband is an architect and I managed his business until last year. Design is very important to us, and the styling and quality of the Beach Villa met our requirements for a tasteful and luxurious environment.
Why the Owner Chose Ko Olina
We chose Hawaii for the beautiful warm weather year round and the easy, casual living style. We chose Ko Olina because it is peaceful and removed from the hub bub of Waikiki, yet close enough to access those metropolitan areas of Honolulu and Waikiki if need be. We chose the Beach Villas because it is a new development and a well designed and well built building with all the amenities and services a resort condominium could provide. We fell in love with the lagoons and the beautifully landscaped pool areas on the property.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Fitness Gym and Landscaped Pools immediately outside our tower, Lanai overlooking pools and ocean, Hot tubs, sauna, steam room, close to Roys restaurant and premium golf course, in unit Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, wine fridge. Beach Villas offers classes such as lei making, fitness classes, ukulele lessons. Adjacent Resort hotels have additional programs such as stingray feeding, fitness classes and restaurant options. Luau at Paradise Cove is also nearby. Amenities include: Spacious villa suite, Large Private Lanai Gated grounds surrounded by lagoon style pool, waterfalls and ponds where black swans play. Custom designed kitchens by Master Chef Roy Yamaguchi with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances Private Fitness Spa (4,400 sq. ft.) with state of the art equipment, sauna and steam, outdoors lap pool and spa. 18-hole Ted Robinson designed Championship Golf Course & Golf Academy Ko Olina Wedding Chapel 43-acre Ko Olina Marina with 330 slips Four crystal blue lagoons, over a mile of seashore pathways Nanea Hale, exclusive beach bar.

My family and I spent 8 days and 7 nights in Ko Olina!!! This condo was gorgeous and roomy!! It really accommodated my family of 6 very comfortably. It was filled with high end appliance, Egyptian cotton bedding and beautifully decorated. Our view from the balcony was spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The property manager was very delightful and informative. We look forward to spending all our Hawaiian vacations at this property. If you're looking for luxury this place is for you! I highly recommend this property. Mahalo

I began recommending this property to friends, relatives and coworkers as soon as I returned home. The Ko Olina complex was pristine, with well maintained and welcoming landscape, pools, lagoons, beach and shared barbecue areas. The rooms themselves wanted for nothing, and many pleasant hours were spent enjoying the air on the balconies. The owner/manager was incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we threw at her. We stayed for five relaxing days, only venturing out once or twice for day trips to catch some waves in Waikiki and explore the botanical and refreshing North Shore. Otherwise, we had all we needed within walking or quick-trip distance to enjoy the tastes of the islands (both home-cooked and restaurant), the sounds of the drums, and the most gorgeous sunsets I've seen. In short: go here to get your aloha on!

Wendi, I wanted to contact you in regards to the condo at Ko Olina. We had a great time. The place was fantastic and the weather was great. The people at the Beach Villas were so friendly and helpful. It was just what we needed for a week of relaxation. The only negative for us was that we stayed for just one week. We could have stayed for two weeks without a problem. Thanks again for a wonderful week. Your place was great. Brian

The unit was better than described! It is well designed for privacy yet gives beautiful views from the lanai. The floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open completely to allow complete enjoyment of the tropical breezes that flow through the palm trees. Flat screen tv's in every room as well as ipod stations. Short walks to the other lagoons provided excellent snorkeling (with turtles) and restaurants. The pools were awesome. We went to the Paradise Cove Luau and were very pleased. Even the teenagers had a good time! I would highly recommend staying with the Sue's in their Koolina Beach Villa. They are great to deal with and very professional.

Hello Wendi, We really enjoyed at stay at your villa. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The villa was beautifully laid out and very comfortable. I really enjoyed unwinding on the balcony in the evening with a big cup of tea. We also enjoyed snorkeling everyday. My son ended up with an ear infection when we got back home from snorkeling so much. He wouldn't get out of the water. He is just like a little fish. I told my son he not only brought back a ukulele from Hawaii, but an ear infection too. He thought that was pretty funny. We didn't want to leave, but we were exhausted by the end of the week from all the activities. I need to leave my feedback on VRBO as soon as get time. Great vacation!

Wendi, Amy and Ed Thank you so much for allowing us to be guests in you beautiful condo at Ko Olina Beach Villas, it was even more beautiful than the pictures on internet. This was our first attempt at vacationing as adult families and your beautiful Villa made it a complete success. Every aspect of the stay at Ko Olina Beach Villas exceeded my expectations. It is truly paradise. We had a fantastic vacation on Oahu and hope to return again soon, On the last day of our trip we went to the Hilton Village to do a little last minute shopping and my sister kept commenting on how much nicer everything was at "Our Condo", their grounds were very nice, but pale in comparison to the fantastic grounds at Ko Olina Beach Villas. As you can see from the attached picture, we took your advise on the Paradise Cove Luau and had a wonderful time.

We just checked out after 8 nights at your parents' condo yesterday. Thanks again for having us stay here. Your property was beautiful, just like the ads online. This was my first experience at a vacation rental and enjoyed the convenience of preparing much of our meals while enjoying the amenities of a 5-star resort. I already am intent on returning to Ko'olina some day.
