Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2008

I am a retired Californian who decided to purchase a condominium in Hawaii to use as a vacation home for myself and my growing family (two grandchildren in two years!). I may eventually live there full time with my husband, but for now would like to rent it for some additional income. My husband is an architect and I managed his business until last year. Design is very important to us, and the styling and quality of the Beach Villa met our requirements for a tasteful and luxurious environment.

Why the Owner Chose Ko Olina

We chose Hawaii for the beautiful warm weather year round and the easy, casual living style. We chose Ko Olina because it is peaceful and removed from the hub bub of Waikiki, yet close enough to access those metropolitan areas of Honolulu and Waikiki if need be. We chose the Beach Villas because it is a new development and a well designed and well built building with all the amenities and services a resort condominium could provide. We fell in love with the lagoons and the beautifully landscaped pool areas on the property.

The Unique Benefits of this Condominium

Fitness Gym and Landscaped Pools immediately outside our tower, Lanai overlooking pools and ocean, Hot tubs, sauna, steam room, close to Roys restaurant and premium golf course, in unit Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, wine fridge. Beach Villas offers classes such as lei making, fitness classes, ukulele lessons. Adjacent Resort hotels have additional programs such as stingray feeding, fitness classes and restaurant options. Luau at Paradise Cove is also nearby. Amenities include: Spacious villa suite, Large Private Lanai Gated grounds surrounded by lagoon style pool, waterfalls and ponds where black swans play. Custom designed kitchens by Master Chef Roy Yamaguchi with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances Private Fitness Spa (4,400 sq. ft.) with state of the art equipment, sauna and steam, outdoors lap pool and spa. 18-hole Ted Robinson designed Championship Golf Course & Golf Academy Ko Olina Wedding Chapel 43-acre Ko Olina Marina with 330 slips Four crystal blue lagoons, over a mile of seashore pathways Nanea Hale, exclusive beach bar.
