Welcome to our Timbernest Condo and its convenient location to the ski area and town. The unit is a third (top) floor walk-up, bright corner unit located on the mountain side of the complex. You will appreciate the warm atmosphere created by our recent remodeling. The condo is one of the best options available for combining mountain and town access at a reasonable price. We are conveniently located on the first street to the south (just 200 yards distance) of the Peak 9 hi-speed Quicksilver lift. The street is residential with local traffic only. Historic Main Street, ice skating, the best restaurants in town are all within walking distance. Four large hot tubs and outdoor heated pool are available for your use. The unit also contains a whirlpool bath that feels like a million dollars after a hard day of skiing, climbing, or just shopping.
This cozy, reasonably priced condo is ideal for one or two families or three couples. We have extensively refurbished the unit for our family to enjoy with new bathrooms, woodwork, furniture, beds, flat screen TV, wireless internet, CD and DVD player, dishes, etc. The unit is fully furnished and equiped for you to have an enjoyable stay. We are happy to share "our place" with you when we cannot be there.

Map & Owner's Profile
Timbernest @ Peak 9 Base-Park that Car! Walk to Lift and Town
Year Purchased: 2003
Why the Owner Chose Timbernest
Where else can you wake in the morning; look out the window to see what it is doing on the mountain; grab the skis and head to the slopes; or opt for a stroll in town, a hike, a game of golf, or just a pleasant lunch or evening with family or friends in one of the many restaurants in town. Enjoy life! Enjoy your visit to our family's favorite town in all of the USA!
Quicksilver Lift is located approximately 200 yards from Timbernest and is accessed by the ski / foot path across the street at the north end of the complex.
The Peak 9 Base area adjacent to the Quicksilver Lift includes the Maggie Ski Lodge, adult and children's ski schools, ski rental shops, a children's nursery that caters to skier families. etc.
Main Street Station, a one block walk from the condo, is the southern anchor of the town's Historic Main Street. Main Street Station contains some of the towns popular restaurants, a ski shop, spa and several of the quaint shops that proliferate Main Street. Continue walking north to explore Historic Main Street.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant, located on Park Ave, walking distance from the condo, thru Main Street Station. Rated best margaritas in the "2011 Best of the Summit" locals and visitors survey. Try their Mango Duck Quesadilla for a pleasant surprise.
Breckenridge Brewery is located on Main Street, walking distance of the condo. Their locally brewed Avalanche Beer is a perennial local favorite. We like their fish & chips and buffalo burgers.
Owner's Map of Timbernest
The Counts family has been skiing in Breckenridge for three generations. We first visited in 1973 when there was only two paved streets - Main Street and Ski Hill Road. There were no stop lights in Summit County and Peak 9 had just opened so you could ski directly to town. We have watched the ski area, town and county grow as our family has grown. Yes it has changed, but so have we, and the excitement of arriving in the mountains, a new snow fall, or a bright, crisp summer day is just as invigorating as the first day we set foot in town. We are pleased to share our mountain home with you when we cannot be there.

My family and I had a fabulous time--the next time we want to rent in Breck, we're definately going to stay here! The condo is in a perfect location, is well maintained, and has everything you could want. I really do think they thought of everything for the convienence of their guests!! My kids loved the loft area and, since it's directly off the upstairs bedroom, it made a convienent family suite for us while another family member used the downstairs master bedroom. It's a short walk to the ski lift, as well as into town for dinner or shopping. At other times, we rode the free public transportation available for both the town of Breckenridge and the county (servicing nearby towns and ski areas). The pool and hot tubs just across the parking lot was nice too! We used them several times. The location of this condo is wonderful and exactly what we'd been looking for!! We highly recommend staying here!

A great condo, fully equipped, very comfortable. Within close walking distance of skiing, restaurants, shops. The 6 of us were able to come and go all day long. We used our car only once, to go to the grocery store. Loved the fireplace and cozy living area--we played Scrabble there every evening after busy days of skiing, snowmobiling, and dog sledding. Our 6 year old grandson loved ski school, the loft, and the hottub. Hope to be able to do it all again someday!

I had a wonderful stay at your condo! It was very relaxing and in a great location! It was much more enjoyable than staying in some random hotel while on vacation. We felt at home in your place and found everything we needed readily available. Again, thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your condo and I look forward to staying there again if I ever make it back to Breckenridge!

Thank you so much for a wonderful visit! It was nice getting away from Denver for a long weekend. Our friends from NC had a great time too! Plenty of snow and boarding for everyone. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL while skiing but that was the only bad thing. Your place was a GREAT rental with nice kitchen wares and unexpected spices! We talked about it all weekend. Thanks again and look forward to visiting your condo again!

We had a great vacation at your Timbernest 12 condo over spring break. It was clean and smelled great upon our arrival. The condo was terrific and the short walk to the lifts was easy. The only problem was one evening the parking lot was full and we had to park elsewhere. If the management company is supposed to clear out the snow periodically they dropped the ball this week.

Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful setting. We could not have been more pleased. The location was ideal in relation to the ski lift and town. The short walk across the street and down the trail to the slopes was something I enjoyed due to the beautiful trails and surroundings. We have older teenage kids who walked to town each night. Your condo really did have all that we needed for our stay in Breckenridge. The complex was quiet and well maintained. The hot tubs are just across the driveway and very well maintained. Your kitchen was well equipped as was the rest of the condo and we used it all from the humidifer, to the sled and the coffee! So nice to not have to purchase things like dish soap and salt and pepper. You have thought of it all. Everything worked and was clean, organized, convienent and included directions. Well done on the vacation home rental! Thank you!
