This condo was cozy and convenient. It was well stocked with all the amenities my sons and I needed to feel right at home. The location was very close to the lift but just far away enough from the noise and crowds. If I visit Breckenridge again, I would stay at this location. I would also recommend this location to family and friends.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends. The condo had everything (especially the kitchen) - too bad we weren't cooking or staying longer to take full advantage! Tastefully decorated, clean and in very good condition. Owner Larry was very responsive on e-mail. Convenient location to lifts, Main St., restaurants, shops, yet building and areas were quiet.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, tourists without a car.

This condo was excellently appointed, from furniture & beds to showers, towels & kitchen facilities. We loved the fireplace, as it was connected to the automatic heating. The elevator from the garage & multiple entrances were very convenient. The location was great, close to the slopes & all downtown shopping & restaurants. I would absolutely stay there again.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountainwood. Being only a few minutes walk from the ski lift was fantastic. The condo was very comfortable and was well equipped. We loved the fireplace in the evenings and the beds were very comfortable after a long hard day on the slopes. We also liked having the garage and being able to stroll to town. There is not a thing we would change!

We visited this condo at the beginning of Jan 2010 and had a wonderful stay there. The location is perfect with just a few minutes walk to the ski lifts at Peak 9 base; even during peak season these never seemed to get busy. It’s then very easy to connect to the other ski areas around Breckenridge. Getting back in at the end of the day is also pleasant; the runs back are not too taxing but equally not too flat for the snowboarders in our group. Loads of shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, but the condo is set behind a couple of large hotels so you don’t hear any of the noise from the busy streets at night. There are loads of great places to eat out in Breckenridge, but if you do decide to stay in and cook the condo has everything kitchen wise you’d need. The condo was quiet and warm, and the décor was thoughtful, e.g. lots of space to store all those coats, hats, gloves etc by the door instead of having an apartment that looks like a suitcase has exploded over it. The owner was very helpful on the couple of occasions we contacted him while there to ask questions, and the information provided before our trip was very useful. I would recommend this condo to friends and if I visit Breck in the future would definitely book it again.

Our stay at the Hairston's home in Breck with our three childred was wonderful. We've been going for years and found thier condo to be fully updated (appliances, kitchen and baths) and very comfortably furnished. You can see the mountain from the balcony and the lifts were less than a 5 minute walk. Deb really appreciated the elevator and indoor parking. If you're looking for a great place to stay that's close to town and the lifts look no further. You've already found the perect place.
