Our family gathered here for 3 weeks in December/January. Adult children and a dog. Very relaxing. The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed the open plan of the great room for togetherness and the separateness of the bedrooms. Privacy and quiet when wanted. Well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very clean and well maintained but also felt like a home. We were pleased to find the yard well fenced. No worries about the dog. Great location. Short walk to the beach. And we all enjoyed long walks there. Nice backyard and relatively private. Enjoyed the morning sun on the sun porch. The weather was very mild. Lovely! One of the best house rentals we've had.

We had the best time at IOP908! We visited IOP for the first time last year and stayed at the other end so wanted to be closer to amenities this time. This house has an awesome location! We love Sullivan's Island and Charlestown and they are just around the corner. Not too far from James or Johns Island either. The proximity to the beach & restaurants & bars on IOP was wonderful! The house itself was perfect. We have rented homes from VRBO.com for YEARS all down the East coast and I have to say that this is the very BEST equipped home EVER! We could not believe that even beach towels were provided. It is always great to be able to bring our dogs - we wouldn't do it any other way and there was plenty of room for them. We were unable to use the pool since the weather had cooled the water down too much but we certainly made good use of the hot tub! The owners were very responsive to any questions prior to our visit. We will be back next year during a little bit warmer time. We would recommend this property to ANYONE! We loved it and anyone else will to.

We spent a week at this location and could not have been happier. It was spacious with lots of character. The beach was a reasonable walking distance. Loved the screened porch and option of outside deck dinning. Great to have a second refrigerator. Pool area was attractive and yard was private due to grown trees and shrubs. Owners were very responsive. Would definitely recommend it and would rent it again.

You can never be certain that a rental property, however appealing in print, will live up to your expectations. This beautiful home exceeded our grandest expextations. I'd forgotten how magical it can be when the entire family is gathered around a private pool and the home's pool and tiki area were superb. A special bonus was the home's convenient location - the shortest of walks to both the beach and the village. You simply can't go wrong renting this property and it's a pretty good bang for the buck!

Our family visited Isle of Palms for the first time in August 2011. We chose this home over the numerous ones listed and were very pleased with our choice! This home is beautiful! I was soooo excited when I walked through it when we arrived. I knew it would be perfect. We had plenty of space for everyone; 8 adults and 3 teens. The pictures are very accurate, but it's hard to appreciate how much character this home has until you see it in person. We loved the screened in porch. That was mostly where we sat for our coffee and talks. We had some dinners cooked on the spacious grill. There is plenty of dining space. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and private! The tiki hut has a nice table and chairs for getting out of the sun. There were plenty of lounge chairs. The walk to the beach is very short- about a block to walkway. Also loved the outside shower for rinsing the sand off after the beach ! We could only get a peek of the ocean from the screened room, but I loved the private feeling of this home. It's completely surrounded by really neat old trees and palms. The yard is completely fenced so we could bring our dogs. They had lots of spaces to explore. The owners are wonderful people. They responded immediately to any questions. Any problems we had were also immediately corrected. I can honestly say this was the best family vacation we've had. We have stayed in penthouses directly on the ocean before and I liked this so much better!! Thank you to the owners for sharing your home! Also would like to add that Charleston is a short drive away. We loved loved loved Charleston. We were torn between the beach or Charleston every day. We loved them both. A week just isn't enough.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The size was perfect and had many different areas to hang out and relax. The pool was wonderful and the grounds were well manicured with tropical landscaping we really enjoyed. The beach was a short walk around the corner, not to mention you could walk to shops and restaurants as well (Cantina, Windjammer). And the house was nicely stocked with a variety of items for guest use (strollers, pool noodles, pack-n-plays, coolers, etc). The owner was very helpful, easy to work with and prompt in responding. We would definitely recommend this house and will use it in the future.

This property really does have a very private Tropical setting! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The beach is a very easy walk as well as the shops and restaurants. You will love your stay here! We will definately come back.
