We fell in love with Captiva after a short visit to the gulf coast in 1998. We had just build a vacation home in Breckenridge, Colorado but after finding Captiva we decided that we are more beach people than mountain people .So we sold the mountain property and purchased our the lovely Life's a Beach cottage located in the heart of the island. This island is truly wonderful and the beaches and sunsets magnificent.
