I grew up in San Salvador, and LOVE the tropical nature of this crater lake. Ever since I was a child my family and I had a summer/weekend home where we spent time and would go back to vacation as often as we can. This was the perfect place to enjoy the wonders of nature, water skiing, snorkeling, kayaking and relax with family and friends. This secluded natural wonder is now proposed as one of the seven wonders of the world to be voted on in 2009.
