Welcome to Destin, Florida with sugar-white sand and emerald-green waters! We have a two-bedroom, two and one-half bath townhouse fully furnished with all kitchen appliances, towels, linens, blankets, and even beach towels! You can park right at your door (no crowded elevators or parking lots to drag your luggage through!).
Our townhouse is on a freshwater lake and you can fish right off your top deck or on the gazebo which is right next to our townhouse. There is a pool about 50 feet from our front door and another one closer to the beach. Just a short walk across the walkover bridge over the lake and then about 100 yards to beach.
Our townhouse has two bedrooms and two full baths on the first level. Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, full bath, and a TV with VCR. Master bedroom has a sliding glass door to a bottom deck which overlooks the lake! The second bedroom has a twin-sized bed on one wall, a bunk with a full size on the bottom and a twin on the top and a T.V with VCR!
The second level has a spacious, family room with a pull-out sofa. While sitting on the sofa or loveseat, enjoy watching a movie on the TV or DVD & VCR. Walkout onto the upper deck and enjoy the beautiful sunsets, or grab a fishing pole that we have there for your use and try and catch one of those big bass that are out there! (yes there are, ask me about my son's fish he caught)! There is also the kitchen on the second level which is fully equipped, half bath, and laundry area.
There are many amenities to enjoy at Southbay, two lighted tennis courts, and two large pools (one heated,2 baby pools also). Of course, the five-acre, freshwater lake that you can fish in right off your decks. Then a short walk to the private beach with no streets to cross!
Also included in your stay at our townhouse will be two complimentary chairs and umbrella that will be set up everyday for you to use on the beach. We also have extra chairs and umbrellas for your use. For the children we have boogie boards, skim boards, plenty of sand toys, goggles, many toys for the kids to play with and a cart to put all your things in! We have 2 tennis racquets and balls to use! We have a couple of fishing poles for your use also to fish right off the deck!
Southbay by the Gulf is located in the heart of Destin. There is a huge outlet mall about ten minutes away! There are many great restaurants near by to enjoy! If you are a golfer, there are several great courses! Super Wal-Mart is less than five minutes away and you have a grocery store right across the street!
There are several shops and restaurants that you can walk to! The Big Kahuna water park is catty-corner from Southbay for the whole family to enjoy! Many miniature golf courses and go-carts and other rides for your kids to enjoy!
Come and stay at our Destin townhome and enjoy the white sandy beaches and the crystal-clear water! And NO ELEVATORS OR CROWDED BEACHES. Just drive right up to your door!

Great place to stay. Loved the location and everything was just like it was presented. All the extra amenities made vacationing stress free and fun. Definitely recommend it and plan to go again.

Lynda & Steve, Our visit to your condo last year was just great! Your place is in great shape and made it so easy for my son to fish, easy for me to drink on the deck while he fished off the deck in the lake. He caught some nice ones too, nothing to eat but it was so much fun for him. The short walk across the lake and parking area to the beach is great too, so close but not too close to have to deal with all the sand all the time! We'll be back for sure!!! Lynda & Steve, Thanks so much for allowing us to come at such short notice!! Our family had a great time and the kids especially enjoyed feeding the fish, ducks and birds! We really appreciated all that you already have there so we didn't have to bring our own beach toys, wagon, towels and chairs. The kids were all excited about the special animals left on their beds and they played a lot of the games you have there. We also REALLY appreciate you going out of your way to go back and get some items we left and get them to our friends. You are really considerate people and it was a pleasure to stay at your condo for our first "official" family vacation!! Thanks so much!!!
