Keywords:  Condominium

Over 1000 square feet of relaxing, well-equipped perfection nestled at the base of the steps leading up to Pike Place Market, across the street from the Seattle waterfront, the Aquarium, and Pier 62. Finished in a décor reminiscent of Seattle’s early days, with red-bricked wall, dark wood floors, and subway-tiled bathroom.

Start the day sipping a fresh cup of French pressed coffee on the terrace while gazing upon Seattle’s waterfront as it comes alive. Take the stairs (or the elevator) up to Pike Place Market, the nation’s oldest continuously operated public farmers’ market, to take in the fascinating commotion of open-air commerce. Sample fresh-baked bread, pastries or piroshky; sample locally produced cheeses; or peruse an unmatched selection of fresh seafood.

Why pay more to stay at an ordinary hotel when you can relax in a central location while enjoying modern comforts and amenities in slightly nostalgic Old Seattle setting. The local waterfront national chain hotel's rates start at $255/night and parking is also additional.

Why the Owner Chose Belltown

We chose this location to be closer to the water as well as to provide an in-city retreat for our family and friends..

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

We love to get up in the morning and walk the 70 steps to Pike Place Market and watch the market open for the day. I am definitely a frequent customer to the Seattle Antigue Market only 1 block away as well. Some of the touches I have added to this condo are from this same market. This location has also been a great starting point for our Seattle Seahawk games as well as our University of Washington games. The Seahawk stadium is 8 blocks away and the shuttle to the University of Washington takes about 20 minutes.
We also love to walk to the Ferry docks (6 blocks) and catch the ferry to Bainbridge Island to spend the day. Where else could you hop a ferry to an island, have a gourmet Northwest dinner and be back in Seattle?
My favorite end to the day is to have a couple pints at Kell's up at the Pike Market's Post alley location. Where else can you imbibe with both locals and Seattle visitors, listen to live Irish music, eat a bowl of Irish stew and sing some lyrics? Nothing better to end the day with!

Owner's Map of Belltown

We love this waterfront condo not only because of the location and views, but also because of the serenity. We have found this to be our in-city retreat. We took great pride in completely remodeling this home.

Great location, beautiful condo

This condo was in the perfect location, much more affordable than hotels in a similar area, and it really was steps from Pike Place Market! My boyfriend and I were there visiting Seattle for the first time and loved coming home to this condo. The bed it really comfy. We did not have a car, and it was no problem taking public transportation from the airport to downtown (link light rail was $2.50/ride, took ~35 minutes) and then a taxi to the condo (there was a free bus we could have used too). We walked to restaurants and sight-seeing. It was also easy to catch the bus to and from the medical center for my medical residency interview. Check-in was quick, we just called Shannon and she could buzz us into the building. There was even a bottle of wine upon arrival- that was a nice touch. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to others! Thanks for everything Shannon. Best wishes, Carolyn

Owner response:Carolyn~ Thanks for the kind words and I am so glad to hear you had such a wonderful experience in our beautiful city! We look forward to your next visit. Until then~ Shannon

We enjoyed the condo for our Christmas visit with family and friends! The Boeing assembly plant and Pike Place Market food tours were very worthwhile. Ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and walking Winslow was quite pleasant. Outstanding visit with family and friends....and the condo location and amenities were thoroughly appreciated!

What a wonderful home to have for a homebase. We really enjoyed coming back, lighting a fire and drinking a glass of wine. Everything was so comfortable and homey. The pictures on the ad do not do your home justice!

Shannon~ Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo for our romantic weekend trip. We had a wonderful time during our first trip to Seattle. We will definitely be back to spend more time here! We spent 2 full days sightseeing and shopping. On our 1st day, we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island. On our way to the ferry, we stopped at the waterfront park and for lunch at Ivar's Acres of Clams. We ordered salmon....it was devine! While on the ferry, we took some great pictures of the sound and Seattle skyline. On the island, we did the walking wine tour and visted several of the shops. We especially enjoyed Eleven Winery and the local bead shop. For dinner we visited Highway 99 Blues. We would not recommend the food, but we really enjoyed the music. On our 2nd day. we visited the market early. We felt a sense of accomplishment at making it up the Hillclimb. What a workout! We especially enjoyed shopping at the World Spice Market along the way. Also, we were pleased to find a vendor in the market who was able to pack up a box of chanterelles we can take home with us! The flowers were glorious, and we would have bought a bouquet if we were staying longer. We hiked up to 3rd and Virginia to Serious Pie for lunch. Yummy! We stopped off at several shops and the Pike Brewery for a brew on our way back to the condo. For dinner Saturday, we took a cab and went to the Stumbling Goat. It's a $17 cab ride but the meal was well worth it! The location of the condo was perfect for sightseeing in the downtown area. We could have spent another 4 days and would not have seen everything the area has to offer. We appreciated that we had all we needed to feel at home. Thanks again for your hospitality!
