This grand, traditional Tuscan villa sits majestically at the end of a private road and provides a wonderful setting for a large group or family. With 10 bedrooms and 7 baths spread out over three levels and 4 separate living areas, everyone can be together under one roof but privacy abounds for all. Set on a hill with 360 degree views of the surrounding fields of sunflowers and vineyards, the villa provides plenty of quiet and solitude but is only 15 minutes from the town of Chiusi where you can take the train or pick up the Autostrada to arrive in Rome, Florence and/or Siena in just over an hour.
In addition, the central location provides a perfect starting point for day trips. Most destinations in both Tuscany and Umbria and even many in Lazio are within an easy day trip of the villa. Destinations within an hour of the villa include Rome, Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi, Perugia, Deruta (handmade ceramics), Orvieto, Cortona, San Casciano dei Bagni (World Class Thermal Spa) and many quaint small hill towns where you can experience the traditional Tuscan way of life.
The villa is comprised of three levels. The lower level has three separate large living areas each with a small living room (with fireplace), dining area and full kitchen. There is a 1 bedroom 1 bath suite, a 2 bedroom 1 bath suite, and a 3 bedroom 2 bath suite on this level.
The second level is a single very large suite perfect for gathering everyone together to talk over the days activities and eating together as a group. (When not dining outside!) This suite has a very large living room (20 x 50 feet)with an enormous fireplace; a large dining room and a large, well laid out kitchen. There are also 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on this level off of a central hallway and there is a very special private covered lanai up a short set of stairs that spans the length of the home where it is possible to dine al fresco or simply take in the 360 views of the surrounding sunflowers, olive trees and vineyards - especially when it is raining outside!
In all, there are beds for 22 and also a sofa bed and roll-away if necessary. There is also a gorgeous private pool set out on a plateau overlooking the fields and surrounding countryside which gets sun all day and has a beautiful view of both the sunrise and sunset. And saving the best for last, there are serveral outside areas perfect for dining together as a group or relaxing together under the clear tuscan sky. There is a wonderful covered loggia with a large dining table for 20+ to enjoy dining outside or you can relax on the wicker furniture under the rose covered archway. All of this in a wooded setting surrounded by olive trees and sunflowers. And free WIFI!! A wonderful value for large groups.

The listing description for this property is accurate, the photos were accurate - the villa is both functional and beautiful. The property was well kept, the pool and gardens maintained regularly and the views were breathtaking. The owner was most helpful and gracious, responding to our needs and queries right away - and with 19 people from ages 7 months to 70 years, you can imagine the queries were varied! we were offered a home made dessert on our arrival and this level of care continued throughout the week. You have to be prepared to drive about 10 minutes to the nearest village for food, etc. The market in Chuisi was actually near the train station, not the main town, and was a disappointment.The ground floor apartments worked well for those families with small children, offering some separation for baby/toddler schedules. Brilliant place for a family reunion. Sienna and Montepulciano were our favourites.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
