This grand, traditional Tuscan villa sits majestically at the end of a private road and provides a wonderful setting for a large group or family. With 10 bedrooms and 7 baths spread out over three levels and 4 separate living areas, everyone can be together under one roof but privacy abounds for all. Set on a hill with 360 degree views of the surrounding fields of sunflowers and vineyards, the villa provides plenty of quiet and solitude but is only 15 minutes from the town of Chiusi where you can take the train or pick up the Autostrada to arrive in Rome, Florence and Siena in just over an hour.
In addition, the central location provides a perfect starting point for day trips. Most destinations in both Tuscany and Umbria and even many in Lazio are within an easy day trip of the villa. Destinations within an hour of the villa include Rome, Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi, Perugia, Deruta (handmade ceramics), Orvieto, Cortona, San Casciano dei Bagni (World Class Thermal Spa) and many quaint small hill towns where you can experience the traditional Tuscan way of life.
The villa is comprised of three levels. The lower level has three separate large living areas each with a small living room (with fireplace), dining area and full kitchen. There is a 1 bedroom 1 bath space, a 2 bedroom 1 bath space, and a 3 bedroom 2 bath space. The second level is a single very large area perfect for gathering together to talk over the days activities or to eat together.
This space has a very large living room (20 x 50 feet)with an enormous fireplace; a large dining room and a good sized kitchen. There are also 4 bedrooms and 3 baths on this level off of a central hallway and a private lanai up a short set of stairs where it is possible to dine al fresco or simply take in the 360 views of the surrounding sunflowers, olive trees and vineyards.
In all there are beds for 22 and also a sofa bed and roll away if necessary. There is also a gorgeous private pool set out on a plateau overlooking the fields and surrounding countryside. All of this in a wooded setting surrounded by olive trees and sunflowers. A wonderful value for large groups.
