This stunning beach getaway located in the private Seadrift community of Stinson Beach is a truly special place. With the majestic Mt. Tam views and natural Bolinas lagoon right in front and the salt water lagoon in the back, you only have to look out the window to know you are in heaven.
The house has a very nice contemporary, mid century modern feel and new conveniences to make you more than comfortable. The enclosed front landscaping was just installed this year and provides yet another spacious place to soak in all the beauty. It is ideally situated with a very short walk to the community's private beach and tennis courts.
To relax, sit in the front yard lounge chair and gaze at a seals, egrets, blue herons, pelicans, cormorants, and sea gulls in the Bolinas lagoon or sit on the caramel leather Barcelona chair in front of a warm fire with your favorite book. To play, go crab fishing off the deck, sea shell hunting on the beach, hit a few tennis balls at the private courts, kayak in off the back deck or in the natural lagoon in front, bike, surf, stroll and jog in one of the most beautiful places in California.

This three-bedroom vacation home is located in the gated Seadrift community. Home is located towards the end of the Seadrift lagoon, so it is a five minute stroll to the beach and enjoys spectacular views of the Bolinas Ridge and natural lagoon. A private dock on the lagoon offers swimming right out the back door. Guests will enjoy the secluded outdoor deck with hot tub, barbecue, and comfortable seating.
Indoor amenities include an easy floor plan, dining room seating for eight (as well as a back deck table for 6), a fully-equipped kitchen open to dining and living rooms, wireless internet service, and a great library of books and games, three televisions including a flat screen, two kayaks (single and double), and ipod hook up in the main living area and wi-fi for those who need to stay connected.
In the town of Stinson, you can find three restaurants, cute shops, a great bookstore, town park with basketball court and playground, post office, small grocery store, and an ice cream/hamburger stand that serves those yummy spiral soft serve cones. Near the town of Stinson, you can do quick jaunts to eat fresh crab in the artistic town of Bolinas, take a tour of the Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes, and bbq Hog Island oysters up the coast in Tomales Bay to name a few.

This place represents our family's appreciation for the natural wonders of our earth. We call it the "closest far-away place" in the Bay area because even though you're a quick drive to the Golden Gate Bridge, you feel like you're at a secret national park.

The decor has lots of thought, personality, charm and style. It's not your typical renter's fare. It's literally our home away from home! The location is superb...you get the best of everything (close to beach, breathtaking water views in the front AND back!)

We really, really enjoyed your home. It's beautiful and open and feels like a place that has been put together by someone that loves it. We're looking forward to staying there in the future. I'm sure we'll want to rent it next summer.

Thanks again for making the rental happen for us! We loved staying in your house so much--it really was perfect for us and we really do want to stay there again next year! (I've recommended it to the moms in my moms' group, too.) We were just so happy there--watching otters in the lagoon, paddle boarding and kayaking off the back deck, watching the kiddos play in the front yard, walking to the beach... And the look of your house is great, so we were very comfortable. To boot, we had nearly perfect weather.
