This is a professionally decorated, 2500 sq ft single-family, detached home in Sun City, Shadow Hills. Fully furnished for wonderful, vacation living. Linens, dishes, silverware, everything provided. The Covered Patio Faces NE so we get morning sun as it comes over the Mountains. Enjoy your outdoors breakfast watching the golfers go by. The Patio has lots of covering with desert landscaping, gas barbecue, patio table with extra chairs for relaxing or entertaining friends. Open Kitchen with Granite countertops and the bar for great entertaining. There are five ceiling fans for very good air circulation.
The Master Bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the extra bedrooms. This gives everyone the privacy they enjoy. There is a desk and bookcase combination in the office (Den) with a color printer for your convenience. We have a wireless connection in the house so you can use your computers any where in the house if you are set up for a wireless connection. The Entertainment Center includes a Cable HD-TV with DVR. For the movie buffs, a DVD player is also available. The two lazy boy chairs will make the evening complete, you need to provide the popcorn.
Shadow Hills Resort is a private, over 55 (only one guest must be over 55) community with security patrols that includes a 24 hour guard-gated entrance. Our home is ideally located on the golf course with walking distance to the Montecito club house where all the activities are at.
Shadow Hills is for Active Seniors so when you come to the desert this year, plan to make many new great friends at our resort. Be sure to take part in one or more of the many activities (clubs) that meet on a regular basis. To name a few, how about joining a Bridge Club, want to sing, join The Singers Club, how about painting, join the Arts Club, dancing any one, we have several Dancing Clubs, or my favorite, a Wine Tasting Club. Every Friday night is movie night. You will go home in spring with many new friends and great memories.
Other Sight Seeing Activities: You’ll enjoy exploring and visiting Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument, Palm Springs Art Museum, Botanical Gardens, Palm Springs Air Museum, and Shields Date Garden. The area is surrounded by mountain views and many unique and beautiful parks.

Vacation Season .. Dec-Apr .. $4100/month (3 month minimum)
Reservation Policy: A $400 deposit will hold your reservation.
The first payment of one-half the rent is due 60 days prior to your arrival.
The remaining rent is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
The reservation deposit converts to a damage deposit upon your arrival,
and is refundable approximately two weeks after check-out.
There is a $250 cleaning fee.

Year Purchased: 2006
My wife and I both came from Minnesota where the winters are very frosty! We have lived in CA for over 25 years and believe that not having to deal with the cold and snow has made life and winters much more enjoyable.
Why the Owner Chose Sun City, Shadow Hills
We have always enjoyed the wonderful climate in the winter and the many activities that Shadow Hills provides. We do not plan to sit and vegetate in front of the TV during retirement but rather enjoy the many activities that the resort has to offer. We believe that staying active in mind and body will lead to a much better retirement.
