  This cabin was perfect for us (wife, three kids). Location was excellent, close to everything we needed to be close to, yet kind of isolated and peaceful.

  Just what it looks like - clean, nice, basic. A nice place to stay while in the woods of northwest Wisconsin.

  We rented this for a family gathering spot. OK it's not the quentisential "cabin" in the woods but its warm, clean,with great beds and super friendly and helpful owners (we locked ourselves out!), close to all kinds of snowshoe, hiking, atv, snow mobile trails and fishing! only one bathroon but it made no difference at all!, easy to find, great local flavor (try the longbranch in minong). no fireplace which would be nice for winter rental nights- but who needs it during the summer there is a firepit out back for that. saw wolf tracks and eagles and bunnies ! really can't do better for the price and its new and very confortable! lake superior is an hour away,fishing 10 minutes away, everything is close and accessable, plenty of room for parking and a boat and pet kennels outside, We went to be together and outside in the great north woods and it was PERFECT!!

  Our stay for our girls weekend was perfect!! The cabin was exactly how it looks on the website, extremely clean,and comfortable. Shower area was a bit small, but it worked for a weekend stay just fine. Plenty of room and beds were very comfortable and cabin was equipped with everything you needed. I would highly recommend it!! We also enjoyed going to the Cranberry Festival in Stone Lake while we were there. The price for this cabin was also perfect. Thank you!!!

  We loved staying at Cabin Inn the Woods...it is roomy and quiet, yet only a few minutes' drive from the Namekagon National Park Visitors Center, several terrific hiking trails and Namekagon River canoe rental. The owners are very nice to communicate with, and we LOVE the Friday night fish fry at nearby Pair o' Lakes Lodge!

  We went up to this gorgeous cabin to spend a weekend canoeing on the Namekagen and celebrate my friend getting married. We arrived to discover an incredibly clean, well-stocked cabin in the woods that was even more beautiful than the pictures! The property is huge and wonderfully private, complete with a fire ring and healthy vegetable garden which I loved to watch grow! The space was a welcome change to the crowded family resorts in town. The owner was more than acommodating to work with. She even send left-behind bowls and sunglasses via speed-ee delivery to us out of her own good will. The cabin is an incredible value and perfect place to spend any vacation get-a-way.

  Our group enjoyed our time in the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the multi-use trail right across the road and the trail that looped behind the cabin. 2012 was not a very snowy year but there was enough snow on the trail for classic cross country and skate skiing. The Namekagon river approximately 5 miles away also had many beautiful trails to explore. Our weekend was affordable and fun.

  This was a great place for our family to get away for a weekend together. We had an awesome time 4-wheeling, the trail was located right across the rode from the cabin. This place was very clean, and very well kept. We were also impressed with the outside, very nice, large, well kept yard to enjoy the peacefulness of the northern woods. The owners were very nice and helpful. Hats off to Jan and her husband for giving us the opportunity to enjoy their corner of the world! My sister, brother, and our significant others will be back, and are planning to call on you again this winter for our snowmobiling getaway. See you soon!!

  Please do not miss out on the opportunity to visit this beautiful cabin in the woods. The owners are the upmost generous people. The cabin was extremly clean !!! I am not a camper and I was very hesitant about renting a cabin. This is not a cabin, it is a family home, which Jan and Dan let you enjoy on their behalf. The setting is beautiful, quite, and secluded. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the kithchen and living room are very large and again the home is VERY clean !! They owners were very accomodating to our dogs and even allowed us to use their kennel facility. The pictures do not do the home justice. We will definately be back to stay. This is comming from a true city girl that does not like dirt or bugs.....and I could not find either in this home. Thank you Jan and Dan for letting us enjoy your property and being such honest, reliable people.

  The Packer game was in progress when I arrived on Friday night! (my siblings had arrived before me) This place is wonderful!- very clean, spacious and comfortable. Jan was VERY helpful with directions and very prompt in answering questions and returning deposit. Access to main road is easy. Yard is big and well kept. Outdoor grilling, seating and dining areas very nice. We would definitely recommend these accomodations to others and most likely will stay here again. Our family has a 3 bedroom cabin near Minong and we rented this as family overflow for celebration of our Mom's 81st birthday and my sisters' 60th birthday. We annually enjoy Friday night fish at The River Bend in Trego.

June-Aug we prefer to rent by the week (Saturday to following Saturday), but will
rent in shorter time frames if the cabin is available.
$125/night (2 night minimum) .. $100/night (3-or more nights) + 5.5% WI sales tax 
$250 refundable booking/damage deposit is required in addition to the rental fee.
Receipt of damage deposit guarantees dates booked.
Check out time is 10:00 am, Check in time is 2:00 pm 
Check in and out times can be modified slightly if booking allows
