Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake
Years ago, my wife and I lived in Summit County Colorado near Keystone and Breckenridge. Our friends told us they were going to a weekend in Grand Lake. They told us about the area and it sounded very awesome even though we were already living in a great mountain area. We checked it out and fell in love. I already loved the Colorado mountains, but being from Minnesota originally - when I saw the chain of three lakes, I knew I had found the ultimate. We started staying at various places around Grand Lake. We were attracted to Soda Springs Ranch where our condo is located because it is across the street from Lake Grandby and only 5 minutes to the town of Grand Lake, yet it offers a reprieve the bustle of town. We also loved the idea of a pool, hot tub, tennis/sport court, fitness center and on-site restaurant and bar. It has everything you could want in a mountain area!

The Evon family lives in a suburb of Denver called Lakewood. We love the outdoors and are busy with the typical family stuff: sports, school, work, friends and church. We love to spend time at our condo in Grand Lake when it's not being enjoyed by our guests.

We spent 3 September nights at this property. Everything was great, the property was clean and well-maintained. The fully equipped kitchen was helpful for cooking food for us and for our baby. It even included salt, pepper and sugar - things that completely escaped our minds when we did our food shopping. Late in the evening, after a long hike, we were so thankful for the owner's thoughtfulness! We loved the wooden patio and wild flowers around the condo. Our last night was chilly but the heating was very efficient and pleasant. The location is wonderful: there are many hiking trails around, and the place is not far (5 min drive) from the town of Grand Lake with several restaurants and shops. The shared hot-tub and the pool at the property were very relaxing. I would recommend this place to families with kids and hikers.

Loved the small condo with it's pretty little court yard in the center of the 4 condos. Was perfect for one or two people and the location and view beautiful. Front deck was a perfect place for our bride-to-be to have her hair and make-up done in the early morning light and the wild flowers growing around the grounds made for perfect pictures. Only complaint was that entrance to the condo (going around others to get there) is very dark...little scary going on your own...more worried about animals than people! And the bed is the hardest I have ever tried to sleep on. Ended up sleeping on the couch! Otherwise, lovely condo and there is a restaurant 50 feet away.

Such a great find! We were able to stay at the condo for four nights and we would definitely stay there again in the future. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen, washer/dryer, swimming pool and hot tub in addition to the convenient location and peaceful surroundings. The kids loved watching the Disney channel every morning before heading out for the day. The private fishing pond was a hit with my husband and boys. The owner was incredibly helpful, thorough and professional in handling our reservations and answering any questions we had. My husband and I are already discussing plans for our next trip!

We stayed in this perfect little home for 9 nights and it was just right for my family of 4! The pool, hot tub and fitness center are great. The neighbors are silent, but friendly. The property is scenic. The location is perfect 5 mins North to Grand Lake and RMNP and 10 mins South to the conviences (and Starbucks!) in Granby. Note: We recommend Remmington's Family Dining in Granby for great food, large portions and down home hospitality. You are also almost across the street from Betty's Diner that has great breakfast. The on-site dining at Carolyn's is very pricey - but everyone there is very nice. I LOVE the convience of the full kitchen and the washer/dryer are so nice. I ran a load of clothes every night after a day of hiking with 2 kids that got a bit dusty. This place was great and can't be beat at the amazing price. Don't miss this gem. We hope to stay here for many summers to come.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was in a great location, only 5 minutes from the town of Grand Lake in a very quiet and scenic area. The condo was definitely well equipped and the amenities at the Soda Springs Resort were very nice! We definitely enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and enjoyed a nice dinner on the covered deck one evening. The owner Tom was great to work with and was very responsive. So much was included at a very reasonable rate, this place is a great deal in the Grand Lake area!

I stayed 3 nites in June 2011 at this condo located 5 minutes outside of Grand Lake. Condo was extremely clean, comfortable and is in a very quiet location. It was nice to have breakfast out on the private deck. The owner was very easy to work with as far as booking. I would highly recommend this condo...MUCH better than paying for a hotel room in Grand Lake! Happy travels!

My Wife and I stayed in the condo for our Honeymoon and it was great. The location was awesome a great jumping of spot for all three lakes. The Condo is located really close to the heart of Grand lake village.

I rented this condo as a last minute get away with my family to go snowmobiling for the weekend. And I must say I was IMPRESSED from the minute I walked in the front door. The condo was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable with all the little extras such as cooking, bedroom and bathroom accessories. We felt right at home and extremely excited that we would have somewhere to come back to after 4 hours of long trails. And the best part . . . The PRICE!! So, so very affordable. I will definitely be back, we had soooo much fun and even enjoyed cooking our meals since the place was so cozy with the fireplace and beautiful views.
