Situated in one of the friendliest neighborhoods of Camden, it features a spacious back deck and a yard with plenty of room for badminton, croquet, whiffleball, or a cookout. Enjoy the incredible beauty of this part of the Maine coast, much of it within walking or biking distance. Stroll to town for groceries, great coffee and bagels, a show at the Camden Opera House, a trip to the Library, or an evening walk around the Harbor. Use the complementary around-town bikes to head out on the bike path to lovely Rockport Harbor or picturesque Beauchamp Point. In the winter, take a short drive to the nearby Snow Bowl or cross-country ski on the extensive network of local trails.
The roomy entryway of this furnished home features a washer and dryer and shelves for storage. You'll go down a short flight of stairs to the three bedrooms and newly renovated full bath. Two of the bedrooms have full-size beds and one a twin. Each room has a closet and a dresser or shelves for clothes, and two of the rooms have desks. Upstairs is the kitchen and one large sunny open room, divided into sitting/TV, dining, and living room areas. There is also a desk and an upright piano. Out the back sliding door is the deck, complete with chairs, a bench and comfy mattress, shaded by an awning in the summer. There are plenty of books and games handy for vacation reading and fun. High-speed internet, basic cable and local access phone are also included.
The house is small enough to stay easily warm in the winter and airy enough to be cool in the summer. A clothesline and large drying rack are available to help conserve electricity!

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
I've lived in Maine for over 18 years and love this part of the Coast. I raised my family here and am a traveling musician and music teacher. I live in the Midwest for most of the year now and am delighted to be able to share my home with visitors to Midcoast Maine.
Why the Owner Chose Camden
The house is easy to heat and cool, and is a five minute walk to town. It's close to harbors, mountains, rivers, lakes, islands, theaters, restaurants, libraries, and many other wonderful places to visit.
The Unique Benefits of this House
I love the fact that you can be on top of a mountain with a fantastic panoramic view in less than an hour, and then bike through town to pick up groceries on your way home. In the winter, I love to cross-country ski on the many local trails, downhill ski at the Camden Snow Bowl, and ice-skate on nearby ponds.
