Sea to Sky offers you a private, peaceful, unique, vacation experience. Your views are truly from sea (Ganges Harbour and Trincomali Channel) to the sky ( Coastal snow-capped mountains of mainland Vancouver in the north).
Sea to Sky is a spacious, three-level, 3400 sq. ft. home recently remodeled. The main level of the home features a master bedroom with an ocean view, queen-size bed, a walk-in closet and an en suite, four-piece bathroom. The second bedroom also contains a queen-size bed and is adjacent to another four-piece bathroom.
The third bedroom is on the top floor and contains two single beds. A spacious living room with an adjoining dining room adds to the open feeling of the home. There are walls of glass and soaring ceilings to fully capture the incredible views. Sunsets are gorgeous and you can view the twinkling lights of Vancouver over Galiano Island.
The kitchen is large and is equipped with quality cookware for your ease in preparing meals. You can choose to eat breakfast in the easterly-facing solarium with the morning sun. In the evening, you can barbecue fresh caught salmon and enjoy your dinner on the outside deck.
The loft area of the home features the library mezzanine with leather chairs and ottomans for your reading and relaxing pleasure.
The lower level of the home includes a large family room with comfortable seating for the TV, a table for games or cards, the third bathroom, and the laundry room. Access to the outdoor hot tub (summer only) is from this level.
A large deck that runs the entire length of the back (ocean facing) side of the house has been remodeled and enlarged. It is the ideal spot to read a great book, watch the eagles soar overhead or just catch up on conversation with family or friends.
Sea to Sky enjoys five hillside acres of arbutus, cedar, and fir trees. It includes a private yard with mature plantings and fruit trees. For the children, there is a grass lawn area and well-marked trails that meander through the forest.
You can also choose to unwind by the small pond and enjoy the soothing sounds of the waterfall. You can watch birds bathe and drink from the waterfall. After a full day of hiking, swimming, or exploring, you can relax in the OUTDOOR HOT TUB (summer only) and watch the setting sun over the mountains.
Sea to Sky is only 5 minutes from Ganges, the heart of Salt Spring Island. Visitors can enjoy pubs, bistros, restaurants, art galleries, and unique boutiques.
