My family and I stayed at this lovely villa for almost a week over the Thanksgiving holiday and would recommend this house without hesitation. We hosted our Florida family and several friends for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone felt very much at home. The house is spacious, open and very comfortable. The house is very beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated with very nice furnishings - things that you would want in your own home. It doesn't feel like "just a rental" as many of the vrbo homes that we have stayed at do. The kitchen was wonderful - very large, well equipped, lovely granite countertops, high end appliances. I didn't mind spending the day cooking - the view from the kitchen and almost every room in the house was incredible. The pictures on the website don't do the view justice. The master suite was very private and roomy and the master bath was very nice. The kids loved the large heated pool and the dock. It was fun just to watch the fish - they were literally jumping out of the water! My daughter spotted a dolphin our first day there. There are fishing poles in the garage just waiting to be used. The location of the home is terrific. It was very easy to find and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to a great shopping center and just a short distance to the incredibly beautiful white sand beaches. The house was very clean. We really hated to leave - we enjoyed our home away from home so very much.

Hummingbird Court is our new vacation destination!

We just discovered Marco Island's best kept secret-this wonderful home on Hummingbird Court. We can keep this review short-the home was lovely and as clean as our own home, the hosts were the most accommodating property owners we have ever dealt with and Marco Island is our new favorite vacation spot. Don't hesitate to book this property-it is just as pretty as the pictures.

Paradise on Marco

What a wonderful property! Tranquil and immaculately clean, this home was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The lanai area is so private and the pool quite large. The well stocked-kitchen was a gourmet chef's dream with stainless appliances and granite counter tops. We loved taking our meals outside in the lanai and, in fact, we spent most of our time there, soaking up the sun and enjoying watching the fish jump out of the water as they chased their next meal down! We could not have asked for a better property-or better hosts. They made us feel welcome and special, as they provided excellent restaurant recommendations, web links for boat rentals, information on local spas and even some grocery shopping before we arrived! We felt like they truly cared that we enjoyed Marco Island and this pretty home. We cannot wait to return to Marco Island-and to any of the rental properties owned and managed by this local family.

My family and I have visited the Marco Island area for a couple of years now. We recently visited for Spring Break 2011. I must say the home is very nice and really gives you a home away from home feeling. The house was very clean, the furniture was very nice and the view awesome. The owners are very gracious and would assist willing in anyway possible. I would truly recommend this home and owners, to anyone looking for a place to stay in Marco. Love it!!!!

My family and I stayed here during the week after Christmas, and we had a wonderful time. The house is upgraded to the hilt with high-end furniture, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, flat panel HDTVs, and an excellent lanai, pool area with heated swimming pool. The island is very pedestrian and biking friendly. A Publix shopping center is only a few blocks from the house, and the beach area and local restaurants are only a few miles drive away. I would highly recommend this place for families as the house has a great room for kids. The owners are extremely gracious, friendly, and very helpful with recommendations and knowledge of the area. Highly recommended!!
