'Shasky Retreat'- Family& Pet Friendly Big Trees Cabin W/ Wifi
- Minimum stay:N/A
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Classic, comfortable, pet-friendly retreat in the perfect location: just above Arnold, right around the bend from Big Trees State Park and an easy drive to Bear Valley Ski Resort.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, this cabin has everything you need for that rustic vacation in the Sierra, but with all the conveniences to make life easy, including WiFi and a fully-stocked kitchen. The dining area and kitchen are beautifully clad in knotty pine, and adjacent to the great room. Stay warm and cozy in the winter months with a wood-burning stove as well as new forced air heat; and in the summer relax on the spacious deck with both gas and charcoal BBQs. The level lot and driveway make for easy year-round access.
You can sleep up to eight: 2 bedrooms each have queen beds, the third has two twins, and the sofa sleeper in the great room has a great view of the wood stove. All the electronics are there: TV, cable, DVD player, stereo and WiFi if you want to catch a movie or your favorite TV program -- or just plug in your iPod and hear how much better your tunes sound below the pine boughs.
Maximum 8 guests, pets OK, no smoking.

Did not really know what to expect since this was a last minute reservation and pickings were slim. However we were pleasantly surprised how nice this cabin was . The beds were very clean and comfortable with beautiful quilts . The Kitchen is fully stocked with every imaginable thing that you would need . The outside of the cabin has a very nice deck and we enjoyed having a nice barbeque dinner on the deck under the beautiful forest. The owners provide dvds , I pod dock and even board games for the family to play and enjoy. We will return next Summer for sure. Thank you Shasky's for sharing your beautiful cabin .Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This day use area is a great launchpad for a rafting trip, fishing trip, barbecue or day hike near Dorrington just off Highway 4.
