Welcome to our chalet tucked in a green forest and set beside a shimmering lake at the foothills of Southern Appalachians. The development, called Pine Mountain Club Chalets Family Resort and Conference Center, consists of over 100 chalets surrounding a 12-acre lake built with its own Bavarian design, keeping the overall plan as that of an Alpine Village. Enjoy Lake Innsbrook, a private lake with docks, boats, and canoes moored around the lake for the guest's convenience. Fishing in the lake is great.
Swim in the community pool, play tennis, Ping-Pong, pool, basketball, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes, or try the nine-hole, miniature golf course.
View the natural beauty of nearby Callaway Gardens, 14,000 acres of wonder, the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center, Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center, and more. If you are a golfer, there are 63 holes of the best golf you could ever want. The Christmas lights are absolutely fabulous. In nearby Warm Springs, visit the Little White House where Franklin D. Roosevelt built his retreat during his presidency. There is plenty to do in the area, or just relax with a book or listen to the ducks clatter on the lake.
Our chalet is one of the most popular chalets in the development with up-to-date furnishings, a screened porch overlooking the lake, and a kitchen with plenty of utensils to make a gourmet meal.

We received a warm and welcoming greeting upon arrival at the Pine Mountain Club Chalets & Resort. My husband and I are snowbirds who migrate in January seeking all the beautiful Georgia sunshine we can absorb until winter's thaw begins in Indiana. THANK YOU for sharing your cozy lakefront chalet. We had a very relaxing peaceful sunrise every morning just listening to the song birds. Even the wind chimes on the enclosed back patio/sunroom sang a melody that only nature can produce. There's plenty to do in the area and Pine Mountain may just be the friendliest small town in the USA. Our experience and stay was all positive, all good, and we highly recommend. (Did I mention it was pet friendly too?) The property was well maintained and the front office personnel are available until 6 P.M. *Our rating is definitely thumbs up!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had visited the Pine Mountain area once before when our kids were small and decided it was time for a return. We were all excited to find this listing and it did not disappoint! Our week was awesome! The chalet was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need for the week. Our kids loved spending the day on the lake in the canoe and fishing with their dad. They also loved the beautitul community pool, that was never crowded. There were more than enough activities and local attractions to keep us entertained. Callaway Gardens and the Wild Animal Safari are both just right down the road. My husband and I will miss having our breakfast each morning on the beautiful screened porch overlooking the lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The resort staff were all wonderful and gave us great information concerning the local area. We definitely plan to return to this chalet again!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We booked a last minute trip at this Chalet and it was one of the best vacations we have had - there is so much to do for free. Had grandkids along and they loved the lakefront fishing and all the amenities at no extra cost. We have dubbed this one a "keeper" and the area has so much to offer - we will be back. This propertry was very well-equipped, clean, fishing in the lake out the back door and the screened porch just made it perfect. Very close to Callaway Gardens and the Little White House and a good restaurant just a short walk away. We highly recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.
