This is the perfect vacation home! We were a large group (9 people) and everyone slept comfortably. The home is extremly private & the views are to die for! The ocean is your backyard! The pool was fantastic with a tiki bar too! There were kayaks & snorkel gear. The home itself was spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen & decorated beautifuly. It was close to great reataurants (Morada Bay & Lazy Days) and Marinas for boating! Highly recommend this home. Nobody wanted to leave! The owners were a pleasure to work with & security deposit was returned promptly. I don't know who would have anything to complain about. We would definitly return! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us...

This property is one of the most beautiful I've seen in the Keys! The house has views to die for! We especially loved swimming in the freshwater pool after a day out on the boat in the salt filled ocean! This house is very clean and comfortable inside and out with many amenities! Attached cottage is perfect for those extra guests! Owners were very helpful with any questions we had and willing to accommodate our needs! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful Keys getaway!

The location and views are spectacular. The house is roomy and the guesthouse (aka loveshack) was comfortable. The only issues we had are when we first arrived. There must have been a wild spring break group the week before, because there was at least 12 bags of trash at the entrance once we found the place. (It is very hard to find in the dark even with a GPS and an address) In addition to the trash, we arrived after dark to several dark rooms and there were no lightbulbs and there was only one roll of toilet paper for 12 guests. Also there were no trashbags. This is all fine except when you pay 4500 per week you kind of expect it and it was frustrating after a long trip to try and find your way around a dark house that you have never been to and then have to go to the store to get basic supplies. The TV and stereo and DVD also had issues and every remote either needed batteries or did not work, hence we went to the store for batteries as well. They should be pretty stocked up on supplies now. The only other issues were the pool which was filthy and trashed due to the guests the week before and the beach which was covered in seaweed and trash. We spent the day cleaning up the beach( a rake on the property would have been nice), we used an oar for a shovel. The owners did send people on Tuesday and they cleaned up the property and pool. The dryer was also broken and made it difficult to keep up with towels for 12 people. The owners said someone would be coming on tuesday to fix the dryer but never saw anyone. We finally started using the knob from the washer to turn on the dryer and it worked fine. lol All in all it is a beautiful property and spacious for 12 people. The pool and views are wonderful. For the price and having stayed at other VRBO properties we were expecting at least the basic amenities and maybe a little extra. We would probablly stay here again because of the privacy and views and spaciousness of the house, but would talk to the owners prior to coming to make sure their housekeepers or property management had these issues taken care of, It is close to Bud and Marys, theatre of the sea and many other attractions and a short drive to Marathon or Key Largo.

This property was exceptional. It was even more beautiful then the pix suggest. Jamie was extremely helpful during the whole process. During a period of a couple of days we had 11 family members living together. The two houses handled the group with no problem. We look forward to booking next year. I would highly reccommend this property to anyone who wants to create memories. PS we had not problem recieving our deposit back.

Had a wonderful time at this property. Great location. fun fun fun There were a few issues while we were there like electricity kept flickering on and off and one of the garbage disposals stopped working but the owners sent someone out to get that resolved. The thing that hasn't worked out well so far is that the security deposit is quite high. 25% of rental amount. It is now almost September and I still haven't received it. In all fairness I just remembered it 8/15. I've sent a couple emails since then asking about its status but have yet to receive a response. Hopefully they just haven't gotten to it yet or are responding as I type this... Will post followup detailing whether it gets resolved appropriately. Followup... So the security deposit refund mentioned earlier has definitely not been smooth or satisfactory. As I mentioned they require a really high security deposit of 25%. I didn't really give it much thought up front other than thinking its way high but I'll get it back. Early on I asked about it and the response was "We've just always had it 25% and it works out for us". Now I understand why it works out so well for them... After many many ignored emails I called and got a machine. Left a message there and after that received an email saying that they had sent the check out long ago and that they would look into it. I was also informed that they were keeping 27.5% ($$$) of the security deposit because we left it in a very very dirty state and one of the toilets was clogged. More email was sent to them explaining that 1. We did not leave the house in any way dirty and that if anything it was cleaner than we arrive. 2. Even though the house was clean when we left the cleaning crew was at the place an hour before our checkout time stalking us until we left. 3. There was a clogged toilet in guest house when we arrived and we called and told them about it 3 times while we were there. No response to that email and several other followups. But amazingly enough there were responses to two other emails sent to her from different addresses asking if the property was available to rent... I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt but it just doesn't smell right. Today I received the partial security deposit refund in the mail. The one that was supposedly sent out long ago. Given the lack of responses I can only assume that if we had forgotten and not been persistent we would never have seen any of the deposit back.
