Location: L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Provence, France, Europe (45 minutes Marseille Airport; 20 minutes Avignon TGV.)

Accommodations:  Provencal-Style House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)

Les Cigales is a two-story, Provencal-style house situated in a small, quiet cul-de-sac in L'Isle sur la Sorgue ("The island on the Sorgue river"). L'Isle is one of the prettiest and most unique villages in Provence, being situated at the parting of the River Sorgue, which flows here and there around the town, enhancing its already considerable charm. The house is on 1000 square meters of land, with a totally enclosed garden, which has a pond with koi; olive, fig and persimmon trees; an entrance arch smothered in eating grapes and kiwi; and a large black mulberry tree for shade on the terrace.

On the ground floor, there is a large living room with fireplace with 2 sofas, armchair,
2 leather Club chairs, which are fashionably "shabby chic", and large upholstered stool.
Satelite TV, DVD player. Three steps lead down to dining area with table and chairs for eight, and doors to garden. Kitchen with oven, gas stove top, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, is fully equipped. From kitchen, french doors lead to terrace dining area.

A double door leads to three bedrooms (one with double-size bed and two with two single beds in each). Two of these bedrooms have french doors to terrace. Large walk-in closet, bathroom with bath/shower, two washbasins, washing machine, separate water closet room with washbasin. Extra room off hall can be used as bedroom for occasional ninth person: fold-out bed.

Upstairs, master suite bedroom with double-size, antique French bed, matching side tables and marble-top dressing table, closet, comfortable armchair and footstool. This room is equipped with electric kettle, cafetiere, cutlery, cups and glasses, so breakfast can be made and taken on balcony without having to go downstairs to kitchen. French doors lead to decked balcony with table and chairs, sun-lounger, fridge/freezer.
A further door leads to private bathroom with bath/shower, water closet, and washbasin.

Outside has large terrace with two teak tables and eight chairs. Sun loungers. Garden backing on to fields.

The house is tastefully and comfortably decorated in a mixture of antique with modern, Provencal with English style.
